The First Official Step Towards...'Qubool Hai'!!!

Everything going against them...hearts were in pain...souls were restless...minds were numb. The day would bring such a twist in Asad-Zoya's lives, they couldn't even think of it.

But what has to happen, does happen. The events at the Valima reception..Dilshad's challenge to get Asad married in 10 days.And then her asking Asad, again n again, whether he loves Zoya or not..whether he wants to marry her or not. Asad not answering n Tannu adding oil in the fire.

Whatever happened...the end result was, the reducing distance between Asad n Zoya suddenly seemed to increase. While their hearts n minds were busy in the "reasoning n realization" sessions...on the other hand...Dilshad had found all her answers. She had taken the decision...and it stands final!!!

Way to go, woman. Loved how you took Tannu to the sky of hope...and just as she reached there...you bursted her balloon...and she came straight down on the ground n all her hopes crashed. A huge round of applause for you. Before Tannu could celebrate her victory...you turned the tables against her. But beware...she is an ENEMY...and she WILL strike back!!

The epi moved at a nice pace. Dunno about this recent obsession of Gul with "10 days challenge". She seems to have been inspired by the T20 matches...or by "dus ka dam"..lol! Let's see what Dadi comes up with now. She should have kept that Humera throwing Raziya outta the house to herself. Raziya is the super-evil (if there is such a thing..lol) woman..and she would now keep herself very vigilant on this front.

Anyhow...coming back to Asad n Zoya. There was a sudden change in their camaraderie. Asad saw her standing at the window...staring at the sky n reached there. He couldn't see her like this...but he didn't know what to do n say now that could make her feel better.

Zoya was hurt...very deeply hurt. She doesn't realize her feelings for Asad...but the way her dreams had shattered coz of his silence and Tannu's words...she was not able to come to terms with it. All of a sudden...that house...those surroundings...that man...and that ring...everything turned into 'stranger' for her. She felt like she was back to from where she started...all alone. Her companion...her partner...he didn't think her "suitable" for him n his family...he didn't say that he "accepts" her as his finace'...he didn't confess that he "loves" her. All he did was...remained silent n walked off. And this made the girl's heart break into zillions of pieces.

Her words clearly showing this torn state of her's. There was sadness in her voice... and her words were like sharp arrows, piercing Asad's heart.

"I was coming to return your ring.."

Shock no. 1 for Asad. He never imagined Zoya could say n do this. And this irked him...he took a moment before he spelled it out in words..."yes, this is the right thing to do.."

Zoya's words had hurt him. He wasn't expecting this from her. The girl who just a few hours back told him that "jazbaat samajhney ki qabliyat nahin hai ap mein...kuch cheezein insaan ko khud samajhni chahiyein..."...the same thing doesn't apply to her?? Couldn't she read his silence? Couldn't she see how miserable he was when his Ammie was forcing him to answer? Doesn't she remember how crazily he followed her...and stopped her from going to NY? Doesn't she remember the sincerity of those eyes, when he slipped the ring in her finger? Those words..."she is my fiance' now...and I have every right to stop her.." don't they echo in her mind? Doesn't she remember those innumerable close moments between them...those confession at the farm house...the way Asad reacted when he had almost lost her (in Mangalpur..as well as the recent Tannu's attempt)?...Maybe, these were the reasons why he got annoyed for a micro-second and said, that "yes..this is the right thing to do.."

But Zoya's words again brought him back to the reality...out from that mode, where his mind was taking charge...and the reality was no less than a nightmare for him. Zoya was trying to take off the ring..."You should give it to your real fiance'.."

It was in the finger of his 'real' fiance...whom he loves...but he couldn't say this to her.

The ring was not moving an inch...as if it was permanently fixed there.

"What are you doing, Ms. Faruqui...let it be.."...the sight was unnerving him...n he couldn't bear it.

"I don't want to keep anything which reminds me of you...", just like him...Zoya's pain was also unbearable for her.

Despite her constant attempts...the ring didn't come off.

Asad stopped her again..."Ms. Faruqui..."

She didn't listen...

"Zoyaa...", and he grabbed her hands. Whenever he calls her by her name..."Zoya"...it always makes her heart skip a beat or two...n this time was no excpetion either. There was authority in his voice. He couldn't see her part with that ring that was a symbol of their "real relationship".

Zoya froze with his touch...his captivating gaze holding her's...and his words, the same as before..."let it be.."

Her hands were in his firm grip...so, it was impossible that she could take off the ring now. But that Tannu ki bacchi came at the wrong time (well, perfect timing for her)...and offered to take the ring off fron Zoya's finger.

Gosh...did Asad put fevicol in that ring? The ring was not leaving its place...Tannu was applying all her force...it was hurting Zoya...and the pain was reaching straight to Asad's heart. The way he looked at Tannu...it was so like.."i'll kacha chabaofy you, woman...how dare you do this..?".lol!

Well...this scene was nothing but full of symbolism. Tannu will do everything it takes to come in between Asad n Zoya. She will try n harm Zoya and that will give immense pain to Asad. Since they both haven't confessed their feelings to each other...well, Zoya toh hasn't even realized...so, this makes them relatively easier targets for Tannu. BUT...her plans...her attempts to harm them...they will all backfire, coz lady luck, in the form of Dilshad is the shield protecting these two soulmates.

Just like the ring fell n went to her...before Tannu could get hold of it. It does signify that Dilshad will be Asad n Zoya's savior at every step.

So, Dilshad took the ring! Gosh...no wonder Asad is so stubborn. Look at his mom...she didn't let Asad even speak. She had taken the decision...she has gotten every confirmation about what's going on in Asad's heart...she knows that her son will never be vocal about his feelings...thus, its she herself who has to do everything.

The only thing is...shouldn't they have asked Zoya..whether she agrees to marry Asad or not? But anyway...Dilshad even knows the halat of Zoya's hearts. She hasn't read only Asad's eyes...but Zoya's too...so, it doesn't matter for her...whether she asks the girl or not. Still..i think, she should've added..."sirf tum DONON ki haan ki deir hai"...and mabe, call Zoya's api n jiju too?!

Dilshad's intro speech was tailor-made for Tannu...and it took the girl straight to celebrating her victory. The moment Dilshad said..."I wanted to discuss this with Tanveer first..."...Asad spoke his monosyllables. Asad's expressions were EPIC here..like..."What if mom chose Tannu?"...haha!!

Tannu was over the moon...Zoya's heart had forgotten beating...Asad was completely blank...and Najma was eagerly waiting to hear the name.

"I have taken the decision..and it is final. Your nikah will be on Friday...". A hint again?? No matter what plans Tannu and/or Raziya make...no matter how n where the turn of events lead Asad-Zoya to...Dilshad will not lose the challenge n will get them married in 10 days. Though I see all sorts of problems knocing at this couple's door...but nikah toh lagta hai ap hona hi hai!!

Asad was like a small confused bacha here...whose mother has taken the most important decision of his life...but he was clueless about it.

His "kaun hai woh.." kinda cracked me up..lol!

Dilshad moved forward...crossed Asad...and reached where the girls were. Tannu was sure that its her...Khan family's bahu...and she very confidently brought her hand forward.

Dilshad didn't even notice her hand...or did she?? Who cares? She very lovingly took Zoya's hand in her's n announced her name..."Zoya".

Seriously...life rushed back in Asad. If Ammie jan took Tannu's name...I'm sure, Asad would have freaked out...lol!

Zoya n Asad were shocked. Donon ke dil-e--beqarar ko qarar aa gya...but the minds were too numb to register n react...and hence, were still in the phase of denial, or maybe non-acceptance.

For Tannu...it was a perfect "in yer face" moment. All her planning went down the drains...and her victory turned into the worst defeat. Time to make new n bigger plans, Billo Rani!! I have a feeling she will use Siddiqui being Zoya's father card to stop this marriage. That'll again be hitting two birds with one stone. Asad-Zoya...as well as Raziya!

Dilshad was relieved...and was finally satisfied!a

So...Dilshad ko Zoya as her bahu...Qubool hai!!

Najma was ecstatic after hearing Zoya's name as her bhabhi. Tamatar ko bhi apni bhabhi Qubool hai!!

Asad n Zoya...going for their official engagement now...in front of their family. Their words may still be having that tinge of 'denial'...but the hearts n souls take a step ahead in their formal "Qubool Hai"... with that ring going back to where it belongs!

Precap...it was nothing less than dreamyyy!!! Zoya in red...the color that Asad loves on her. Asad looking dashing in black! And their eyes...expressions...the way Asad is holding her hand...Zoya's moist eyes...and that eye-lock!! Epi...air already...😳😆
