Zoya- No ordinary girl

She's twisted. We know. But sometimes I feel she is just so silly, to just let her feelings out in the form of twisted words that when Mr.Khan counter questions, she's left speechless. Her problem is, she gives Mr.Khan way to much importance, perhaps something he doesn't deserve. It is downright OBVIOUS, as made by Zoya that she feels for Asad, then is Mr.Khan waiting for Zoya to confess first? In my POV, I think she confessed long ago. All those reasonings she's demanding, Mr.Khan knows what she wants to hear, so why not take the initiative? She is no ordinary girl, she's being 'man' enough to say it on his face, then why is Mr.Khan shying away?

Mr.Khan is kinda irritating me these days. It irked me when he didn't try to defend his mother. Maybe it wouldve been inappropriate or indecent for that time, but I loved when he spoke to Siddiqui Sahab this once with such anger and hatred in his tone, I would've loved had he spoken like that with Razia.

Its not like he didn't try to defend her. When he looked to step in Dilshad said "No I got this"
If he was there when the fight started though...I believe he would've taken over.

Asad IMO has given more signs to Zoya about HIS feelings than Zoya has given. So in my POV Asad has confessed long time ago also. Why does Asad have to confess verbally first though? Because he's the man in whatever this weird relationship is?
This is the 21st century. Women are making the first move these days. Zoya can take the initiative also. She wasn't "man" enough, because when he blatantly asked her what she wanted she backed off and chose to stay mum.
And Asad is a guy...Men don't know anything about what women want. Hence there is a need to spell everything out to them. As they say men are not mind readers 😆

We have read essays on why Asad behaves the way he behaves but doesn't Zoya also deserve our emphathy for being constantly on the recieving end of Asad's ever changing behaviour!
He very easily put the banner of "fake engagement" on everything that happened at the airport to protect himself from unravelling his emotions and when she sought an answer what did he shut her up with, "Aapko khuli aankhon se sapne dekhne hain toh main kya kar sakta hoon".
The creatives presented this scene as comic but I found it downright offensive!
Infact, I had expected this scene to be serious one but just like the scene in which Asad apologizes to Zoya for slapping her, this one too wasn't given the weightage of seriousness which it deserved.
Thanks to creatives who do not realise that certain scenes require a level of maturity, especially the ones which when wronged can give the impression of being insensitive to women characters.
And yesterday he dared to ask her if she wants the engagement to be real? What did you read in her eyes at airport Asad? You hadn't narrated her the script of your "drama"! Why do you think was she blushing, smiling, crying?
Why did she seek a proper justification for your actions?

Agree with you that Zoya sometimes gives Asad too much of importance!

okay for me both asad and zoya are emotionally confused people..who are still unsure of what they or the other person wants..they are not sure of what they feel...they know they have attraction towards each other but is it love or not..they both are not sure...about asad he kinda still knows that there is something unknown between them and as he said khichaav hai...but zoya well she hasnt till now had any realisation of her feelings other than once she got jealous and insecure because of asad tannu and she had tears..but she brushed that of..what i think is zoya just wants to be accepted somewhere and here with asad and his family she has kinda found her home...but she isnt sure exactly what she feels..and i think its due to her non absence of her parents and how she was left alone to fend for herself...she kinda wants security from asad..but when he actually questions her about serious relationship she gets confused unsure...and what i think is they both still need time
