i think what Gul and CVs have been doing with Qubool Hai has been brilliant so far. It has a good storyline and plenty of parallel stories. she has also developed all the characters - lead pair and supporting characters as well, which reduces the overwhelming demands on the lead pair to carry the TRPs.
I like the fact that Zoya is intelligent and able to pick up on clues and cues quite quick. I also like the fact that even though Asad is emotionally challenged, he in his own way does show his emotions and caring nature to Zoya, mixed in with his anger and demeaning behaviour towards her, of course. But the fact that he is going to propose to her and to both him and her, marriage is a significant step.
I think Gul could put alot of challenges towards Asya as a couple but making them stronger instead of weaker. The challenge on Zoya and indirectly Asad when she finds out who her father is? And the assumption that Rasheed was the one who killed her mother and how would that impact on her relationship with Asad. I dont think Gul needs to go down the road of Zoya marrying Ayaan to increase the challenge for the lead pair. Its already been done in many serials and I think it is generally disrespectful to the sanctity of marriage.
Overall I like the pace of the show and it doesnt drag unnecessary. Saying that though Tanveer track is starting to drag a bit.
I hope Gul would not sacrifice on the chemistry of Zoya- Asad since it is brilliantly done and portrayed. If she pairs them off with Tanveer or Ayaan, it would be very difficult to watch and makes a mockery of their chemistry and characterisation.
