She was already shattered...she came home, Asad blasted her and told the officers to deport her, why was it necessary to give her a final emotional blow ??? And this is something that he has been saying to her over and over...her not being deserving to have a mother, her not being fit to stay in any family , a misfit...he's been saying these BS things all the time to her and frankly Asad disappointed me big time with this...I had thought he was over this

again, i think when he says these harsh words to her, he actually tries to convince himself to push her away. He is complicated and what he says is not what he always means
So in his mind, she still is not fit, then why the hell does he go running after her like an idiot 😡
If she's not fit for Asad's house and country then why not leave her alone and make her go back to people who think she is a perfect fit for their family...her appi and jiju

that's where his mind and heart are not at sync. What he doesn't realize is that once she is gone, he will go even more bonkers
And besides it makes me wonder...will Asad throw Zoya out of his house every time something happens ????

well, that's the million dollar question. I think with time, Zoya will learn to understand him better and just walk away till he cools down.

He doesn't even realize how much he is hurting Zoya with this nonsense remarks all the time and unless Zoya doesn't make him realise he, will never change

He will...if she leaves him for a long time but will he ever let her leave him?

Great post. Now that you mentioned it yes it does make sense as to why Asad told Mr. D to take her from this country. Asad does love Zoya a lot it was evident through out the entire episode. What particularly stood out to me was the fact that there was some restraints on Asad's anger. He wasn't his normal spewing volcano. His anger had some control and a definite calm edge to it. So like others I agree that Asad's anger was really just worry and fear for Zoya. His anger was more for Razia's insults and slap.

I believe two things were going on simultaneously: first, he was absolutely angry and disappointed and second, he was also worried for her safety-especially from a legal pov.

I do think that the reason he packed her bags and without hesitation revealed all to DB is because he wanted her to leave the country before getting into legal trouble. He is specificially worried about Humeira being 'poisoned' among other things- which means that he was clearly thinking of the legal implications of what happened today. (Re dialogue: mulk sahi nahi hai)

i think he really panicked once he thought about the legal implications. Also, the slap from Razia really infuriated him. For him, Zoya is now a part of him, like Dilshaad. He cant see anyone humiliating her. in fact, i feel this issue could cause a lot of problems even if they get married now. Zoya would want to appease her father but asad will not want her to humiliate herself in front of them. This will cause a lot of conflict. That's why he has always been shown to wrap her around with her dupatta/pallu etc

However, the majority of his reaction (minus the deportation scene, the packing scene and the mere baare mein nahi socha scene) was plain fury and disappointment towards Zoya's tremendous mistake today. She proves his doubts true: that she doesn't have the saleekha to keep his home protected and intact. That she makes decisions without forethought and can risk his mother's reputation and respect-even if unintentionally. (Dialogue: kisi rishte ke layak nahi hai)

yeah, that was his usual rant but what got him really charged up was the slap

Ps: Razia thinks it's dadi who poisoned the sweets. I don't think she is suspecting Tanveer yet.
