I have noticed that. either that or the parent becomes abnormally and suffocatingly protective about the kid. I've seen both cases. And I've seen people come out of the psychological issues as well when they experience life. Its time for Asad i guess.

Exactly my point. Taking out zoya, tanveer from the equation its not the way to take your kid's life's decision. And there has to be a sense of self preservation on Asad's side as well. He will become somebody's husband in future. He will need to be responsible for her and give her importance equal to her ammi as well. .
