Its almost time for the Zoya-feeding-sweets to -Humeira scene. Its almost time for Humeira-fainting-on-Nikhat's-lap scene. So,Its almost time for the Razia-Slapping-Zoya scene. In all,i know what time it is. Its time to just skip tomorrow's episode of Qubool Hai. And maybe the day after's.Really.
For someone like me,who watches every episode close to 50 times ( The Asad-Zoya scenes ofcourse),
its an uphill task. But i know i have to do it. I have an presentation on Saturday morning and i really am in no mood to get depressed and sulk quietly in utter morosity. No way. No F**king way. Not this time around.
Yeah,yeah i have seen the sbb segment and oh boy, Zoe is staying and yes,they are engaged but still,my heart says a completely biased NO about watching tomorrow and friday's episode.
Dont judge me,i have my reasons. Or,lets say,just a reason- Zoe. I have loved her from the very start. The very beginning. Before AsYa and Before " Mitwa..ishq pe zor nahi" And like with everything else in my life which holds an important part,i am loyal to her. Her and only her. For me,She is Qubool Hai and noone else. Not Asad,not the family saga. Just her.
And that is the reason why i'll be boycotting tomorrow's episode. I cant/wont see Zoe getting slapped. I mean, seriously? Why cvs? Why in the bloody hell would you do something like this?
Here you gave us a woman who's feisty,lively,vivacious,exuberant and very very independent. She was like a breath of fresh air and her magnetic persona spellbinded us all. But you ruined it. You put this woman,this beautiful and smart yet childishly innocent woman,in the same situations that k-bahus were in. Stupid situations. Situations in which people who are so bluntly beneath them get to hurt them and slap them. And basically humiliate them and dirty their characters in full public view. And these bahus do nothing but cry as if the world has ended. these incidents serve as a sympathy factor for their idiotic husbands to realise their importance and they try to rescue them.
SERIOUSLY? DID YOU REALLY PUT ZOYA INTO THEIR CATEGORY? The Zoe i knew from the show would have stopped Rasiya from hitting her. Period. She would have held her about-to-slap-you-hand and told her that she did not do it and she did not know how it happened. Yes,the slap was unexpected. Yes,its hard to react then. But seriously, Zoe,you know you did nothing wrong. Couldnt you just stand up for yourself like you did before ?And really YOU REALLY THINK ZOE'S CHARACTER NEEDS SYMPATHY FROM ANYONE? FROM ASAD? GIMME A BREAK! WHAT ELSE WOULD YOU MAKE ZOE FACE JUST FOR ASAD TO GET HER WRONG AND THEN COME BACK RUNNING TO APOLOGISE?
I would never ever use the words "poor Zoya" in the same sentence but now everyone is doing it. Everybody feels the need to help her, feels the need of Asad rescuing her. No, Zoya can rescue herself. Because thats Zoya.
I consider Zoe very close,very very close. I love her character, the girl-woman in her. Sometimes a character comes into your life and makes it better. Its all fiction you know but still you love her so much that you almost pray that she exists. And i love Zoe like that, so not in a million years would i ever want to see her get slapped. No. Yes,Asad did do it once and trust me,it took a long time for me to forgive him. But it came from the right place- his head wasnt working and he was just not himself. But a slap from Raziya? Out of all the people in the world?! No way cvs! Thats the most disgusting thing to have happened on television after a long time.
Well,i'll be off now and i hope you guys see my reason. What can i say,now,if you do plan to tune in tomorrow night,just make sure you have enough control over yourself. You might just break your tv.. just saying.
