Chapter 13

Asad got up and started to pace his room. He had to find out who was messing with Zoya and who had wanted to hurt her. He thought back to the night of the fire in Zoya's room and hearing a women talking to someone about clearing up the evidence. But what he didn't understand is who was in Zoya's room at that time of the night. All he knew for sure was that both incidents were connected and a woman was involved. Asad decided to talk to Zoya about the fire incident and see if she remembered anything. He made his way out of the room and saw that his ammi and sister where nowhere in sight. He made his way to Zoya's room and knocked on the door.

Asad: "Zoya it's me Asad may I come in?"

Asad knocked several more times but still didn't get a response from Zoya. He panicked as he thought something may have happened to her so he rushed into her room. He came inside and saw that Zoya was not in her room. He started to make his way to check if she was in the bathroom. Just as he was about to turn the knob to the bathroom door Zoya pulled it open from the inside and came face to face with Asad who was gaping at her with an open mouth. Zoya stood there in jeans and a beautiful yellow kurti, she was looking beautiful. Her hair dripped water which trailed its way down her cheeks, from her jaw towards her neck. Zoya felt Asad's intense gaze on her and she started to blush. He was so lost in her beauty that he did not realize when he made his way closer to her and leaned in towards her neck. He kissed away the water drops and felt Zoya shudder in his hold. He pulled her closer from her waist. Instinctively Zoya's hands went up and settled on Asad's chest. Asad was still showering her with wet kisses on her neck. Her body felt as if it was on fire. She clenched Asad's shirt in her fists and pulled him closer and gave him better access of her neck. Asad trailed kisses up her neck towards her lips. He dove in and took her lips in for a passionate kiss. Zoya started to run her hands over his chest and Asad groaned against Zoya's lips. Zoya moved her hands up and ruffled his hair. Asad was just about to slip his tongue into her mouth when a scream brought them out of their trance and they pulled away from each other. Asad and Zoya ran out of her room and upstairs. They went to the source of the commotion and barged into Tanveer's room. Asad saw Tanveer and ran to her and asked what was wrong. Tanveer jumped and grabbed Asad and hugged him crying with her fake crocodile tears.

Tanveer: "Jammy...woh...woh... someone was outside walking around near my balcony.

Asad went towards the balcony and looked outside but no one was there. He came back to Tanveer and settled her down on her bed.

Asad: "Tanu there is no one there are you sure that you saw someone there?"

Tanveer: "Yes Jammy I am sure I saw someone there."

Asad: "Well don't worry they are gone now."

Asad was about to leave and get up but Tanveer threw herself at Asad and started to cry even more. Asad looked at Zoya and saw her glaring at him. She turned around and stalked out of the room mumbling under her breath. Asad looked at Zoya's retreating back and knew he would hear a load full from Zoya soon. He sat there and was lost in the thoughts of Zoya when Tanveer slowly placed her head in the nape of Asad's neck and placed a kiss there. At the touch of the kiss Asad pulled away from Tanveer glared down at her as if he was going to eat her alive. He turned around and then stalked out of the room shooting her daggers before he left.

Tanveer: "Run away all you want Asad but soon you will be running to me and not to your precious Zoya."

With that she smirked and made a quick phone call to someone.

Asad made his way downstairs and saw Zoya and Najma in the kitchen chatting away with each other. Dilshad was watching. He came down and sat down in the living room absorbed in his work but listening to the conversation that was going on in the kitchen.

Zoya: "Phupi I am so hungry is there anything to eat?"

Dilshad: "No beta but if you want I can make something really quickly for you guys to eat.

Zoya: "No Phupi its okay you don't have to take the trouble. Najma do you want to eat pizza? We can order some pizza and eat that?"

Najma: "Yeah Zoya that sounds good! But bhai-jaan will never agree to let us order pizza."

Zoya: "Don't worry Najma when Zoya is here no need to fear! I will go talk to Mr. Khan."

Dilshad: "Zoya beta if Asad does not listen to you let him know that I said it's okay to order the pizza."

Zoya: "Ji Phupi"

Zoya walked over to asad who was quickly typing away on his laptop and completely absorbed in his work. She came up and stood in front of him.

Zoya: "Mr. Khan since me and Najma are hungry we are going to order some pizza is that okay with you?'

Asad: "Yeah Miss Farooqui its fine with me."

Zoya smiled and ran back to the kitchen. Asad was absorbed in his work so he didn't care what Zoya had come and asked him for. Zoya placed the order for the pizza and was sitting with Najma chatting away. Dilshad had retired to her room to get some rest and Asad was still working. After a while the bell rang and Zoya ran to go answer the door. The pizza was here and Zoya was jumping around with a smile.

Zoya: "Tamatar look the pizza is here! Let's eat it before it gets cold!"

Najma and Zoya got the table set for a late lunch and Najma went to go call Dilshad. Zoya asked Asad to come over and eat some pizza. Asad said it's okay and that he would just have some black coffee. Zoya went into the kitchen to make asad coffee as the coffee was getting ready Asad came around from the back and circled his hands around Zoya's small petite waist and pulled her to his chest. Zoya gasped and started to squirm in his arms. Asad tightened his hold on her and brushed aside her hair from one side of her neck and started to trail kisses along the nape of her neck. Zoya was shocked at his sudden actions and he was doing it so openly in the kitchen. Zoya was lost in the moment but the thought of the coffee being done brought her out of her thoughts.

Asad: "Hmmm Zoya you smell so good."

Zoya: "Mr. Khan let me go. Oh my god Mr. Khan look Phupi and Najma are here!"

Asad sprang from Zoya so quickly as if he was on fire. He looked around and saw no one there he looked back at Zoya who was laughing uncontrollably with a big smile plastered on her face. Asad was glaring at Zoya and she quickly straightened up and gave Asad his cup of coffee. Asad turned slightly to make his way back to the living room but turned around to thank Zoya for the coffee but the happiness that was once seen on Zoya's face was now replaced with anger. Her eyes were burning with fire. He tried to snap her out of her thoughts but her eyes were just glued to the lipstick mark on his neck. She knew she didn't wear such deep colors and she didn't kiss asad on the neck then who could have. She was confused at first but then it hit her like a slap in the face that Tanveer had kissed Asad since they were just together and that Asad had let her. Zoya kept staring at his neck and then looked up to glare at him and then looked back at his neck. Asad was confused at what she was looking at. He looked down at his shirt and saw that there was nothing wrong with it and then he brushed his hand against his neck. As he pulled back his hand he saw a red lipstick stain on his hand. His eyes nearly popped out as he remembered that Tanveer had kissed him in the nape of his neck. He stepped forward to Zoya to explain but she stepped backwards.

Asad: "Zoya let me explain...please it's nothing like what you think."

Zoya: "Leave me alone Mr. Khan! I don't want to hear anything."

Zoya turned around to walk off but Asad grabbed her hand. She fought back and got rid of his hold on her hand in one strong yank.

Zoya: "Don't touch me!"

Asad was shocked with the intensity of her voice. She sounded broken. She shoved away Asad and went to her room and slammed the door shut with a big bang resonating in the whole house. Dilshad and Najma came down in time to see Zoya run off and slam the door shut. Najma and Dilshad went to her room and tried to open the door and talk to her but she had the door locked.

Dilshad: "Zoya beta are you not going to eat you were hungry and you haven't ate anything since morning so please come out and eat beta.

Zoya: "Phupi I am not hungry please leave me alone I just want to be alone for a while."

Dilshad: "Are you sure beta? If you want I can bring some food for you to your room and you can eat in here."

Zoya: "No Phupi its okay."

Dilshad: "Okay beta but if you're hungry please let me know I will bring you something to eat.

Asad stood there thinking what had just happened. He gathered his thoughts and thought of going to speak to Zoya to clear up the misunderstandings. He walked up to her door and knocked. But got no reply. He turned the door knob but it was locked.

Asad: "Zoya please open the door. I can explain. Please it's nothing like what you think it is. Please open the door.

Asad kept knocking but still got no reply. He decided to give her some space and come back to talk to Zoya later. With that thought in mind he retired to his room.

Precap: ZOYA! OPEN YOUR EYES! Ammi! Hurry and call the doctor!! He turned around and glared at Tanveer and then yelled at her. Tanveer what did you do to her!?

Hey guys so here is Chapter 13 finally after so many days of waiting..I am sorry its a short chapter and I rushed it and wrote it I don't know how it came out but I hope you guys like it.
