At the moment he seems to like her platonically but in the initial episodes he was definitely infatuated with her.

i think he has too much on his mind right now to even think about whether he likes her or not but I'm sure if he wasn't so stressed out and had time to ponder the idea, he'd fall dead hard in love with her. I mean, she's everything he wants in a girl...beautiful, modern, the poetry and not to forget all the risks she's taken because of her concern for his best friend and brother Asad. If you were in Ayan's shoes, how can you NOT fall in love with her.

My only thing is that he does look a lot younger than her...so it comes off right now as little bro/big sis relationship. It doesn't motivate us to even fathom love brewing between those two.
