When I Found You!
"ZO-YAA!"
"ZOOO-YAAA!"
"ZOYA where are you?" Asad was running here and there shouting just one name 'Zoya'.
Dilshad tried to calm her son but there was nothing she could do or say that would calm him. She had never seen her son so broken and lost.
"Asad beta calm down. The police are searching for her. Zoya will come back." She sobbed.
"Ammi how can I calm down? If anything happens to her''" he stopped mid-sentence when he thought about the things that could happen to her, he shook his head as if trying to make those hideous thoughts go away. He looked at Tanveer standing beside najma trying to console her. He walked up to her and grabbed her by her shoulders.
"How can you do this Tannu?" he said angrily.
"Jammy it's not my fault. I-I didn't know!" she stammered.
"ENOUGH!" he roared.
"I had sent Zoya with you because I thought you were smart but what did you do? You lost her! YOU F*****G LOST HER! Why don't you yourself get lost!" he released her with so much force that she staggered back.
"Ya Allah why are you doing this to us? With so much difficulty we had solved Zoya's visa problem and that's why we came here, in Ajmer to thank you but what did we get in return? We lost our Zoya! Why, why, why?" Dilshad looked up at the sky and cried.
After they had been successful in fooling Mr Dhurandar and his assistant that Asad and Zoya were getting married they all had been really happy although they knew the problem was not fully solved they were still overjoyed. Najma's vacations had started and they all had planned to go to Ajmer to thank Allah. This way they would get to go somewhere for the vacations and Dilshad had always wanted to go to Ajmer shariff to visit the auspicious dargah there, but now she regretted her decision. Zoya was lost, Asad was freaking out and najma was crying inconsolably.
"Ya Allah please have mercy on the poor girl if not us. She has already suffered her fair share of miseries." She prayed to the Almighty.
"Mr Khan we are trying our best." The inspector said.
"TRYING? TRYING? I don't want efforts inspector I was RESULTS! I want bloody results! I want Zoya in front of me, safe and sound, not a scratch on her body, not a hair out of place. Are you getting me? Now go and find her and keep updating me in every 10 minutes." He spat.
He raked his fingers through his hair as tears slowly made their way down his cheeks. He could only think of Zoya, zoya and zoya. If anything happens to her then even he would cease to exist. She was his life, his everything and after so much they had done to make her stay Allah couldn't snatch her away from him like this. He would fight with the god himself to bring her back. He closed his eyes as his knees gave up and he fell on the ground.
He had sent Zoya with Tanveer to get the offerings but Tanveer had returned alone.
~FLASHBACK~
"Tannu? Where is Zoya? She had gone with you." Dilshad asked Tanveer.
"Khala... Jammy... Zoya is... She is..." she didn't know how to break the news to them.
"Tanveer spit it out where is Zoya." Asad said in his no-nonsense tone.
"Jammy'. We had gone to take the offering but I got a call from my client so I went away to talk but when I returned Zoya was not there jammy. She was gone, I thought she came here but she is not here. I'm sorry jammy." She said with an apologetic face.

His cell rang and he immediately answered the call,
"Zoya!" his voice filled with the desperation to hear her voice.
"Mr Khan, it's me Inspector Arjun, I just wanted to tell you that we were able to track the location of Ms Farooqui's cell phone but the locations shows somewhere in the jungle around dargah sharif. We have informed the forest authorities and they have sent a search unit to find her if she is actually in the jungles. We are on our way there."
"Thank you inspector even I'm leaving from here, I'll meet you there." Saying this he disconnected the call.

Zoya woke up to find herself in a room'.A small hut to be more precise. Her head throbbed with pain, she clutched her head, 'Ow!"
She looked around the dilapidated hut. She tried to think how she got here but her headache increased. She didn't know how she ended up here.
~ FLASHBACK ~
"Wow it's so crowded! If someone gets lost here?" Zoya asked Tanveer as they made their way toward the stalls selling the offerings.
Tanveer shrugged "you will soon find out Zoya" she thought to herself.
"Um Zoya I have heard about this place near the dargah where if we tie a thread on the wall then all our wishes will come true. It's just a short walking distance from here." Tanveer said.
"Really Tanveer? Let's go there!" she said enthusiastically.
"Yeah lets!"
"Wait Tanveer let's go get phupi, najma and Mr Khan also." Zoya suggested.
"Um...actually'. Zoya they have already gone inside the dargah, let us go then they can go later on." Tanveer tried her best to convince Zoya to go alone, if everyone goes with her then her plan will be foiled.
"O-okay!" Zoya agreed grudgingly.
Tanveer and Zoya were walking towards the place mentioned by Tanveer. Zoya was walking ahead, she wanted to pray to Allah for the well-being of the people close to her, the people she loved more than her own life, the people who meant the world to her, her phupi, Najma, Mr khan and her appi and jeeju. She didn't want anything for herself, she already had everything. Zoya had been so busy walking that she didn't notice Tanveer's absence, she didn't notice two masked men approach her from behind.
She suddenly felt something hard hit her head and she screamed in pain, her vision blurred and slowly darkness engulfed her.

"Mr Khan the search team has already been sent in the forest to search for her, you wait here if we make any progress then I'll inform you." Inspector told Asad.
"No! Even I'm coming with you. I want to find her." he protested.
"Mr Khan this forest is pretty dense only the local people know the way, if you get lost then we'll have two people to find." The inspector tried reasoning with me but Asad would hear none of it. He walked past the inspector into the thick dense forest with only one goal in mind : FIND ZOYA!
The inspector went behind Asad.
"Mr Khan please I have to go back to my team, we are trying our best to find her and we can only succeed in it if you co-operate with us." He pleaded.
"Inspector I'm going there to find her, if she is inside then she must be feeling so scared. She needs me inspector and you can't stop me from going there to find her." he turned his back to him.
"Ok Mr Khan if you want to go then I won't stop you, just keep this wireless receiver with you, if you find her or there is any problem then you can call us, it also has a chip attached to it so that if we can track you easily."
Asad took the receiver from him and ran in the jungle like a mad man shouting just one name 'ZOYA'. He shouted her name in the top of his voice hoping to get some response. He ran in only god knows which direction, not caring about the stones, bushes and thorns in his way, not caring about his lungs burning due to excessive running, not caring about anything. He wanted to reach her before anything happened to her, he would find her, and he would not let God snatch away the person he loved more than his own life, he needed her more than he needed air and he would not sit quietly until he had her by her side reciting her famous shayaris and smiling that patent dimpled smile of hers.
He felt a sense of dj vu as he ran through the forest shouting her name, he felt like he was transported back to that ill-fated day, back to mangalpur, back to the day when he thought he had lost everything, when he thought he had lost his very reason to exist.
"No I will not let anything happen to her!" he thought to himself.

"I have to get out of here. Phupi and Mr Khan would be worried." Zoya tried to stand up but the pounding in her head made it very difficult for her to stand properly, she clutched the wall for support after steadying herself she went near the door and pushed but unfortunately the door was locked, she tried pushing the door harder but the door didn't budge an inch, honestly what was she even thinking!
She was lost and she was scared, she just wanted to be in Asad's safe arms. She curled up in a corner of the room and cried her eyes out. She thought about the number of times she was in danger and every time Asad was there to protect her like a knight in shining armor. She knew that even this time he would come to find her, he would come to save her. She looked around the room and saw some bricks lying in the corner of the room, she made her way towards them and picked up one of the bricks with great difficulty and tried to break open the window. Due to the old and withered condition she was able to break it; she unlatched the window, threw it open and jumped out of it.

"Razia bi apni najayaz beti se peecha chutwane ke chakkar main baukhla gayi thi kya?" Tanveer was talking on the phone with Razia.
"Kya matlab hai tumhara?"
"Matlab yeh hai ke police ko uski cell phone location mil gayi hai aur Asad use lene gaya hai. Woh use wapas leke hi ayega. This plan of yours was nothing but a flop plan and if Zoya tells everything to Asad then we are gone." Tanveer shouted on the phone.
"We? Nahi nahi billo rani, hum nahi sirf tum. Asad Ahmed Khan ko kya pata chalega ke yeh sab maine kiya hai? akhir kya sabot hai tumhare paas? Mujhe dobara call karne ki koshish bhi mat karna samjhi tum!" with this she hung up on her.
"Razia''" Tanveer looked at the phone with shock.

"ZOYAAA...ZOO-YAAA! Zoya kucch toh jawab do." Asad's voice echoed in the empty jungle. He listened for any sound that would tell him about Zoya's presence but the only sounds he could hear was of his own heavy breathing, the sound of the crickets singing and the soft crunch of gravel as he walked. The silence was killing him, the atmosphere of the forest was suffocating him, he felt claustrophobic even in such an open place.
"Zoya I promise I will never let you out of my sight ever again please just come back." He cried. He heard rustling of leaves and he looked in that direction and flashed the torch light to see who it was.
"Zoya?" he asked.

She had somehow managed to come out of the hut now the question was where to go? She didn't know the way out of such a forest and no matter how much she showed everyone that she was brave, she was not brave enough to wander the jungles at night all alone, you never know what type of animals live in this forest, what type of people might've made this forest their hiding place.
The hooting of the owl and the sound of insects added to the eeriness of the surrounding. She could hear Mr Khan's voice ringing in her ears
"Ms Farooqui you claim to be very brave and you can look into the eyes of lion, tiger and bears and you got afraid of darkness? Tch tch tch!"
She mustered up some courage as she thought about her phupi, najma and Mr Khan waiting for her. She started walking but she didn't know where she was going, she had walked quite a distance when she thought she heard someone call her name.
She started walking towards the source of the sound, she again heard a loud 'Zoya' echoing in the air and she increased her pace. It was Asad's voice, she could recognize that voice even in her sleep. She was right, he had come to save her, he had come to her rescue like always. Someone flashed a light towards her she covered her eyes with her hands instinctively
"Zoya?" she heard Asad's calm voice.
"Asad!" she removed her hand from her eyes and saw that it was actually him standing there, without thinking much she ran into his arms, her sanctuary.
Relief washed over Asad as he hugged Zoya, she was here and she was safe. He buried his face in her hair and took in her unique scent to confirm that she was actually there in his arms and not some mirage.
He broke the hug and shook her violently.
"Where were you? Where did you go? Why did you leave Tanveer alone? Where did you go wandering alone? Do you have any idea how worried I was? What were you thinking? Tumhe kucch ho jata toh?" he yelled.
"Leave Tanveer alone? Mr Khan she left me alone! Why did she do that?" she cried in his arms.
"She left you alone? Zoya... Zoya tell me what exactly happened?" he smoothed her hair and patted her head to console her.
"I-I don't remember clearly b-but Tanveer was taking me to some place, I-I-I was walking ahead but when I turned she was not there. She left me stranded in the middle of nowhere then someone hit my hard, I don't remember anything else." She hugged him again and whimpered.
"Let's go from here." He whispered in her ears. He would handle Tanveer later; he took the receiver out of his pocket and told the inspector that he had found Zoya. The inspector asked them to stay where they were as the team was coming to get them. He disconnected the call and kissed Zoya's forehead and hugged her tight, as if his life depended on it.

"Asad...Zoya! Zoya beta how are you?" Dilshad asked Zoya. Zoya simply nodded, she was very exhausted and her head was still throbbing.
Asad looked at Najma and motioned her to take Zoya in her room.
"Tanveer! Can I have a word with you?" he narrowed his eyes at her. Tanveer saw the anger in his eyes and gulped, she was anticipating a full scale Armageddon.
"J-Jammy... I-I-I''" she stuttered.
"How cleverly you edited the part of taking Zoya somewhere in the retelling of the story!" he directly came to the point.
"I-I-I... Jammy I didn't..." she lowered her gaze.
"Tanveer your game is up so there's no point in denying anything." He gritted his teeth.
"Oh by the way, I had a nice chat with your masterjee while coming back. Don't ask me where I got the number from. I have my contacts." Asad saw the colour drain out of Tanveer's face. He took slow steps towards her.
"It seems like your business is prospering. More and more clients are coming to give you their orders. It's pretty impressive how you are managing to complete those orders in time considering your house and factory was burnt to ashes." He said skeptically.
"Jammy I..."
"I don't want to listen to any non-sense, just tell me why you what you did and I'll let you go." He said calmly.
"Someone hired me to do the job." She said.
"Oh so you are a hit man or should I say hit woman?" he said, not believing a word she was saying.
"Tanveer I said the truth! Or should I call the police? They'll deal better with you." He took out his cell and was about to call the police when Tanveer yelled,
"I wanted her out of your house, out of your life, God I wanted her out of this world!" and she met with a tight slap, she touched her swollen reddened cheek which was stinging with pain. She looked up thinking it was Asad but she was surprised to Dilshad standing there with a look of pure resentment and rage.
"Khala..."
"Do Not Call Me That!"
"How dare you kidnap Zoya? How can you bear such jealousy and anger for such an innocent girl? What did she ever do to you? That girl won't even think about hurting anyone even in her dreams, how could you do that to her?" she yelled.
"Because I want to marry Asad and as long as Zoya is alive that will not be possible." She said frustrated.
Asad grabbed her by her left arm and dragged her out of the house.
"Asad... Asad what are you doing?" she tried to free herself from his vice like grip.
"Something that I should've done earlier." He replied.
He opened the main gate of the house they were currently staying in and threw her on the ground.
"There, that's your place Tanveer. Out of my house and out of my life. Don't you dare even look at my family!" he bellowed.
"Family? That girl is family to you?" she still had the audacity to scoff.
"Yes she is a part of my family! She is my family, she means the world to me, she is my life. And if you try to harm my family in any way I will strangle you with my bare hands. Now get lost and don't show your goddamn face to me ever again!" he shouted at the top of his voice. The police will handle her he thought and turned his back at her.

She felt someone's hand on her cheeks and she slowly opened her eyes to see who it was. She saw Asad hovering over her, his eyes filled with unshed tears. She had heard everything and she felt very bad for him, his best friend turned out to be a manipulative conniving woman.
She sat up, rested her head on the headboard, looked at Asad and patted the bed asking him to sit. Asad sat beside her on the bed and whispered,
"How are you?"
"Fine but my head hurts!" she replied.
He wiped away the lone tear which had managed to escape, raked his hand through her hair and asked where.
She pointed at a spot at the back of her skull where the ache was picking up strength, he touched it and she winced.
"Ya Allah!" he hissed, touching the golf ball-sized lump gently. "Does it hurt a lot?" he asked, his eyes daring her to lie.
"It's bearable." She answered with a smile. She took his hands in his and asked the same question,
"How are you?"
"I was fine the moment I found you!" he replied and flashed one of his rare smiles.
She rested her head on his chest and whispered,
"I want to go home." Her voice cracked a bit.
He draped his arms around her and whispered back,
"Soon!"

A/N ' whooo! Finally it's over! God that turned out to be so emotional and dramatic (not too dramatic I hope) I've worked really hard for this one! (yeah I say that for every OS of mine) yeah so this OS is more of a wishlist!

Sohu - sorry this is not exactly the way we discussed and I cut off the dialogues which we had planned! But when I start writing I don't know mujhe kya ho jata hai! *hides behind the chair to save myself from chappals* 😳
