He walked out, out of the hall. There was nothing for him to do. He finally lost everything. He was walking but he didn't know where? He let his feet lead him. He heard the music distant itself from his ears, and soon he vanished into the night.
He stopped, where he was. He looked up, the tears blurred his vision, and with one hand he wiped his eyes, which were blood-shot red.
No one, there was no one around; all he heard were the chirping of the crickets. Why was he even crying, it was his decision, he told her to go on in life.
He closed his eyes and fell to his knees, but he did love her, he really loved her
"Zoya!!" he yelled, but just to hear her name echo back at him.
He covered his face; he couldn't stop the tears….why?

"Mr. Khan…."
He turned back hearing her voice
There she stood, dressed in a deep maroon anarkali
He was left stunned, she looked beautifu-
He quickly looked away, what was he doing? He can't forget their…well his decision
"Kya hai Zoy-Ms. Farooqui"
She closed her eyes
"Meh sirf ek aakhri baar poochne aayi hoon, do you really want this?"
He picked up the file in front of him, just so he didn't need to look into her eyes.
"Ofcourse, Ayaan's happy, I'm happy"
"Are you really happy Mr. Khan?"
He busied himself with the file
Zoya closed her eyes, once again, trying to control her anger
"Answer me Asad!" She said raising her voice a bit
He instantly looked at her
Again she softened and her eyes grew misty
"Please apni faisla badal lo, please" she begged
"Ms. Farooqui, my decision is final"
"Asad, what about…what about us?" she asked
He turned
"What about US?" He said, in a harsher tone
"It was a mistake of me to propose you; I wasn't in my sense..." He said
"Then you weren't in your senses either, when you confessed to me?"
He turned to face her
"Dekho, the past is the past, that was a long time ago"
"A week isn't a long time Asad!" She argued back
He rubbed his face; she was making it even more complicated, for her and for him.
"Ms. Farooqui, just listen, tum yeh nikhaa karlo, it'll be better for you and for Ayaan…."
"What about you? Will it be better for you" She asked, tears falling out of her eyes
"Stop asking these faltu questions, ab jao, sab tumhari intezaar kar rahi hogi"
She took in a deep breath and wiped her tears
"Fine, but remember one thing, I said qubool nahi hai once before, I could say it again" saying that she didn't even stay a second in his room, but ran out
Asad closed his eyes as a single tear fell.
"I'm sorry Zoya…" He whispred
Present Time
"I'm sorry, I'm really sorry Zoya" he whispered
"I just love you so much, but I also love my little brother!"
The wind started blowing, and it sang in his ears
He looked up at the sky and was still for a couple of minutes and again he looked to the ground, letting the tears fall.
He felt a soft hand on his shoulder and his head jerked up and he quickly turned, and there she stood, tears flowing down her eyes, like the waterfalls of Niagara Falls.
But, she had a faint smile on her lips too.
He automatically stood up
"I love you too…." She whispered back
It took him a couple of second to adjust the fact that she was really here…
He smiled, eyes still teary, a bit, but still managed to pull off a smile
He pulled her into a soft embrace
She closed her eyes feeling protected in his arms, but suddenly remembered, she was supposed to be getting married
"Fine, but remember, I said qubool nahi hai once before, I could say it again…"
Those words rang in his mind, and he pulled out of the hug.
"Zoya, you said Qubool Nahi Hai?"
She smiled, why was she smiling?
She shook her head
"Nahi, Ayaan said it" she replied back
"Ayaan said-"
"Haan bhai…"
Both turned to see Ayaan and the families standing there
Ayaan smiled
"Aapko kya laga, I wouldn't find out?"
Asad looked down, guilty
"Sorry to break it to you brother, but I knew from the beginning…"
Both Asad and Zoya shared a look
"From the beginning?" They said together
Ayaan nodded
"Yup, from day one…I was just testing you guys"
The Khan's and Siddique's started laughing at the back
"And, we all made a plan, aur dekho mission Bhai aur Zoya ko milao, complete"
He smiled.
Asad looked down not able to control his own smile
"Idhar aa Bandar" he said to Ayaan
Both the brothers hugged.
"Thanks…" Asad whispered in his ear.
Ayaan turned to Zoya
"Mona Darling, ab ban jao meri bhabi" he ended off in a wink
Zoya looked at Asad who pulled her into another hug, and all the others started laughing
