Dilshad had been restless the whole night. As she watched her grandson sleep next to her, she could not control her anger. She had nearly lost her grand-daughter before she could know her. That's it. Razia Siddhiqui, watch out. The next day, without prior warning Dilshad visited Razia Siddhiqui. Razia saw her enter and stopped her at the garden. Dilshad confronted Razia but Razia claimed innocence. Dilshad knew better and for the first time Dilshad threatened Razia. Razia had always feared Dilshad's strength and blurted the truth. Dilshad was shocked and warned Razia that if she ever got close to Zoya or the kids, Dilshad would kill her. Razia was petrified and promised her. For the first time Razia Siddhiqui had faced the wrath of Dilshad Khan.

Both Dilshad and Razia had not noticed Ayaan had over-heard. Ayaan was stunned and had to share it with his Bhai-jaan so that Zoya and the kids were protected. Immediately Ayan called Asad for a meeting. Juggling work, hospital, Armaan and home Asad was busy BUT Ayaan insisted. Asad met him in the hospital. Ayaan informed Asad on the Dilshad-Razia conversation. ASAD AHMED KHAN WAS FURIOUS. He was glad his Ammi had taken care of Razia. But Ayaan had not noticed Zoya but Asad sensed her. She overheard and was distraught. So Razia was after her kids. WHY? Allah Mia, what had she done now? Asad knew that Zoya knew.

10 days later:

Zainab was being released from the hospital. Asad and Dilshad insisted that Zoya and the kids move in with them but Zoya did not want to trouble them. For the first time Asad told Zoya "They are my kids too". Zoya gave in. Zainab noticed the closeness between Zoya and Asad. Unlike Armaan, Zainab took time to like people but she liked Uncle Asad from Day 1. He walked into her room while her ammi was paying the bills. Asad smiled and picked her up. She told him that she could walk but he would not hear of it. Zainab was welcomed into the Khan household. Her dadi and Tamatar had decorated the house in pink (her favourite color). Her favourite food had been cooked. Armaan, the chatter box hugged her.

Zoya re-entered the Khan household. This time Asad decided that she would become a permanent fixture in the house and in his life. Zoya Farroukhi, Asad Ahmed Khan will not let you go this time

Khan Household:

At night, the entire household was asleep. Suddenly, Zainab screamed as she was in pain. Zoya woke up with a start and so did Armaan. Zoya tried to comfort the kids and get them to bed. Armaan was cranky as Zainab was in pain. Asad had heard the scream, concerned, rushed into the room. He did not knock. Zoya was shocked to see Mr. Khan. Quietly, he carried Armaan out of the room. In the living room he was pacing so that Armaan would calm down. Dilshad had woken up too and as she watched Asad with Armaan; it reminded her of Rashid and Asad. She enquired if he wanted help but he refused. He wanted to take care of his son. He had missed their initial years owing to (his fault). Now he wanted to make up for lost time. Dilshad understood and left her son with his son.

Armaan Miya had stopped crying and was back to his naughty self. Now that he was his DAD he refused to sleep and insisted on playing cricket. Asad tried all the tricks in the book but Armaan would not buy it. Asad sighed as he was reminded of young Ayaan. Armaan was a combination of Ayaan and Zoya.

Zoya wondered about Armaan and Asad. Zainab was fast asleep so Zoya went in search. She did a somersault when she saw her son and Mr. Khan playing cricket. She laughed as Mr. Khan's EXPRESSION WAS PRICELESS: He had pained look as Armaan had broken an expensive clock and a vase. Dilshad and Najma were also laughing at Armaan's knocks. Every time Armaan knocked some item he jumped with joy and Asad groaned. Asad's perfect and clean home was no longer perfect and for some reason Asad loved it.

Zoya felt bad for Mr. Khan. She called out for Armaan but the monster refused to get to bed. Armaan said "Mom, I am playing with Dad and check out this shot. He hit the ball so high that it hit the fan". Asad winced at the word Dad and Zoya giggled. Armaan was as stubborn as his father. She had done her best to get Armaan to call her Ammi but to no avail. Asad called for a time out, got Armaan to sit on his lap and requested him to call Asad "Abbu". Armaan thought for a moment and said "Sure, Dad-Abbbuuu". Zoya, Dilshad and Najma laughed loud and for the first time so did Asad.

Next morning:

Najma, Armaan and Dilshad were in the market. Zainab was sleeping. Mr. Khan was at work. This gave Zoya lone time. She rewound to the past.

After that night, Mr. Khan convinced her to return. She agreed as she saw a future with him but she was still unsure of his feelings. Things were no longer normal. Every time she and Mr. Khan were alone they would end up either making love or kissing or talking (she talked, he listened). She had begun seeing a different side to Akudu Khan BUT she did not know that this side was for her as only she could bring it out in him.

Zoya had to leave Bhopal for a few days for her Appi's work. On return Dilshad informed her that Asad and Tanveer were getting married in 24 hours. Zoya was devastated. HOW COULD MR. KHAN DO THIS? She wanted to question him but he refused to meet or talk to her. She left. In a month's time she found out that she was pregnant and turned to Ayaan. Ayaan had wanted to escape Razia's clutches; hence, agreed to marry her. Unknowingly, she had entered her father's home. Razia misunderstood the intent and made her life miserable.

A year later, during a heated moment, Razia had blurted the truth about Siddhiqui and Zoya. Her father was alive but she was his illegitimate daughter. She was distraught. More important why did Mr. Khan lie to her? She was shattered. Siddhiqui realized that his wife had lied to him about Zoya. Zoya and her ammi had been his life. He had loved Zoya more than Humeira. When Siddiqui realized his wife's objective, he got Zoya to return as he wanted her out of Razia's clutches. Ayaan supported the decision as he and Zoya never loved each other, wanted his best friend Zoya and his bhai-jaan's kids away from the witch. Humeira was so excited about her half-sister but she supported Ayaan as she now knew the truth about them. Zoya headed to New York for a new life with her twins: Zainab A.Khan and Armaan A. Khan.

Now:

Zoya wiped the tears off her face. She had to check on her daughter. As she turned, she saw Mr. Khan gazing at her with tears in his eyes. He was in pain. She ran to him and hugged him. Asad felt an ache. It was time to give Zoya answers. She deserved it.
