I think today's episode revealed a lot of why the women on this show are the way they are. And no matter how the women have turned out, one thing is for sure...it all sprung from the mistakes the men in their lives made.
Dilshad: I'm my opinion went from being a strong independent women to an incredibly weak minded and sad individual ever since Rashid went to jail. Rashid deceived both Dilshad and Shireen and then went on to leave Dilshad and their two kids (whatever his reason maybe). The fact that Dilshad still calls cowardly Rashid her husband shows that not only did she have even dignity to ask for a divorce, but she still believes he is her husband. She fights for him against her own son, and sheds tears for him, and then she watched him walk away with his family and she STILL refers to him as her husband.
Shireen: She has been Rashid's wife for the past 17+ years, and yet she has to live with the knowledge that Rashid probably still "loves" Dilshad. She has to comfort him while he cries for Dilshad. She catches her husband secretly trying to meet Dilshad, and all she can do is say nothing.
Razia: She is evil. There are no two ways about it, but even that is because of something Gaffur did and hid. I wonder who Razia was before she got married. Could it be that she was a pure as Humaira is now, and Gaffur's reality just put her off the edge and made her the evil queen she is now? After all, every witch has a story they aren't born wicked. Dilshad and Shireen stayed a prey, Razia become a predator.
Zoya's Mother: Even that poor woman, loved and abandoned by Gaffur. She had to pay with her life and it didn't seem like Gaffur cared too much about her death either.
The New Generation:
Zoya&Najma: both daughters abandoned by their fathers, yearning for their loved and left disappointed. At least Najma had Asad to take up that role beautifully.
Zoya: even her relationship with Asad. What has it made of her? This love sick puppy who is begging for his attention and all she really gets a moments of loved and chucks of abuse (mental, emotional and physical)
Humaira: what will be in her fate? How will this deal Ayaan made with Razia affect her life and will be become another Razia or stay a Dilshad.
