*Knock Knock*

The door was opened by Najma, a little while later, who was shocked to see Nikhat standing at the door, tensed. "Nikhat baji?" Najma said

"Najma'.Asad bhaijaan kahan hain?" Nikhat asked, tension all over her face.

"Andar hain'par aap'"

"Nikhat'" Came another surprised voice. "Beta tum iss waqt kia kar rahi ho?" Dilshad asked as she took her inside.

"Badi Ammi'Asad bhajaan kahan hain?" Nikhat repeated her question to Dilshad.

"Asad tou kamre mein hai'" Dilshad replied, "Par hua kia beta?"

"Kya Zoya yahan aayi thi?" Nikhat asked, ignoring her question.

"Zoya? Yahan? Nahi tou'" Dilshad was confused to the core.

"Badi Ammi'Zoya, Zoya ko'." Nikhat started to say but was interrupted by another voice.

"Kya hua Zoya ko?" They heard an extremely concerned voice behind and turned to see Asad standing, with a frown on his face.

"Bhai jaan'" Nikhat ran towards him and hugged him while Asad hugged her back.

"Nikhat'kya hua hai Zoya ko?" Asad asked impatiently, while Dilshad and Najma stood there, tensed.

"Nikhat beta'please batao, mera dill betha jaa raha hai" Dilshad expressed her worry.

"Bhai jaan, wo'Zoya'" As she narrated everything to them, the three who stood there couldn't believe their ears. Dilshad was horrified while Najma had tears in her eyes.

"Ya Allah'." Exclaimed Dilshad, "Meri Zoya'meri Zoya pe itna ganda ilzaam? Wo log aisa kaise kar sakte hain" Dilshad said, tears dripping down her eyes.

Asad was speechless; to say he was angry would be a gross understatement; he was literally boiling with fury. How dare they'.how dare they accuse Zoya, his Zoya of something she didn't do! And the person who did it was non-other than his brother'his little brother who promised to keep Zoya happy. He felt tears of anger pool in his eyes at the thought of him slapping her.

"Aur tab se le ke ab tak 2 ghante ho gaye hain'aur wo yahan pe bhi nahi hai" Nikhat said, crying.

His anger was immediately replaced by worry, extreme worry. Where was she? In what state she might be in? Such questions were floating in his mind like a whirlwind.

"Asad'." He heard Dilshad calling him, "Asad'please, meri Zoya ko le aao'wo bechari pata nahi kahan hogi'kis haal mein hogi'" Dilshad sobbed on Asad's shoulder.

Asad held her shoulders and made her face him, "Ammi'khud ko sambhale" He tried to console her, when he was in need of consolation, "Mein Zoya ko le kar aaonga'.usse kuch nahi hoga, Allah pe bharosa rakhen" Asad said and hugged Dilshad.

Asad parted from Dilshad, and giving her a reassuring glance he took his car keys and headed out, while Dilshad lifted her hands and prayed to Allah.

Driving the car like a mad man, through the streets of Bhopal, Asad didn't care about anything; be it traffic signals or anything. All he cared about was Zoya. All types of thoughts were roaming around his head. Half of him was furious at Ayaan for doing such, not caring if he was his little brother, he wanted to kill him. And the other half was sick and hell worried for Zoya.

Zoya'the girl who simply changed his life. Never had he thought that the girl, who stayed at his home as a guest, would rule his heart. Never had he thought that the girl who was nothing but a Musibat accoording him would mean everything to him.Never he had thught that the girl whom he called her a misfit would fit in his world so perfectly. He remembered after she left the house, how it became lonely'Even though it was same as before yet, it wasn't. He felt tears in his eyes as he remembered when she told him that she was getting married'.to Ayaan. That's it. That just made him realize how much he loved her'how much he wanted her.

Her silly talks, stupid shayaris, messy state'.yet, a pure, golden heart had drawn him to her, but his ego was too big to make him realize that. He felt his heart break into millions of tiny pieces thinking of his love getting married to his brother.

But when he realized it'.It was too late. He clenched his fingers around the steering, with tears dripping down his face.

*Thud*

He screeched stopped his car as he realized that he had hit someone in the darkness of the night and lost in thoughts. He quickly jumped out of the car and saw a girl in jeans lying with her back towards him. Seeing her he had a strong feeling that she was'.No! She wasn't. He told his heart to shut up. He didn't want to think negative, yet he felt scared. He took a deep breath, bent down and keeping a hand on her shoulder, he turned her.'

His breath got stuck in his throat. All his fears had come true'.

"Zoya'" Was all he could whisper.
