"Asad ruko." Dilshad said

Asad stopped and looked at his ammi who stood and went to him

"Asad I want you to take a break from work for 2 weeks." The week after next week is your nikaah and day after tomorrow is your engagment." said Dilshad proudly

"Ammi, why are we in a rush?" said Asad

"Beta I told you before that I want Zoya to come in my house as my bahu." she replied

"And we want Zoya to come in our house as our babhi!" said Muskaan hugging Najma excitdly.

Zoya blushed and looked at Asad. Asad looked at Zoya back and smiled a little.

"Zoya you have to call your appi and jiju to inform them about your nikaah." said Dilshad

"Don't worry phupi, I will inform them right away!" Zoya said

"How about right now?" said Dilshad

"Ok!" Zoya hopped out of the sofa and stood and ran off.

Asad smiled at Zoya's childishness and Dilshad noticed.

"Ammi I am going to the office to inform everyone about my leave>" said Asad

"Asad, also invite them for the nikaah functions!" said Dilshad

Asad nodded and left.

Tanveer looked at him leaving angrily and thought, *I just can't make Asad and Zoya seperate! But I am not the one to quit, I will make sure this nikaah won't happen! Maybe if Asad focuses more on me than on Zoya then Zoya will become unsecure and it will cause a rift between them* Tanveer smiled evily, Muskaan noticed and thought, *Oh no! What if Tanveer thought of another plan! But I will not worry, because I am Muskaan Ahmed Khan, and I will surpass Tanveer and I will make sure her plan fails!*

Tanveer then said,"Khala what if Zoya's appi doesn't agree to the nikaah?"

"Don't think like that Tanveer, of course she will, after all this involves Zoya's happiness!" Dilshad replied

Tanveer smiled fakely hoping that Zoya's appi doesn't agree.

Zoya was calling her appi and then she answered the phone.

"Walliskumaslam appi!" Zoya said happily

"Aaswalikum Zoya, what happened you sound so happy today?" said Zeenat.

"Actually appi I have to tell you something," Zoya said nervous

"What is it Zoya? You can tell me."

"Appi main.. vo..." Zoya said even more nervous

"Zoya bas karo with the main vo and tell me what is wrong"

"Appi actually I don't know how to tell you"

"Ya allah! Did you get in trouble again? Zoya you will never mend your ways-"

"No appi! Its not that, actually.." Zoya breathed in and continued

"I am getting engaged.." Zoya said quiet

"What? what did you say? something about engaged? Who is getting engaged?" asked Zeenat

"ME appi! I am getting engaged!" said Zoya

"What!! Zoya you are getting engaged? When? To who? When did this happen?" asked Zeenat happily

"Actually Appi this happened very fast and I just want your permission..."

"Ok first tell me who is it? Is he a nice boy?" asked Zeenat excited

"Its Asad Ahmed Khan, Dilshad phupi's son." said Zoya blushing

"Asad! He is a nice boy and best of all he is Dilshad appa's son!"

"I am getting engaged to him day after tomorrow and the nikaah is in 2 weeks."

"But Zoya, this is happening so fast, don't worry I will book mine and Anwar's tickets right now and inform him right away! But Zoya you are happy with this nikaah?" asked Zeenat

"Yes appi, I am very happy with this nikaah." said Zoya

"Ok, I will hang up now and be good!" said Appi

"Yes appi, allah hafiz." said Zoya

"Khuda hafiz"

Zoya hung up and sighed, she was getting married to the man she loves and best of all, her appi agreed to the nikaah.

Zoya ran into the living room where all the ladies including billi were and hugged Dilshad tightly

"Phuphi I am so happy right now! Appi agreed!!"

Muskaan and Najma stood happily and joined the hug. Tanveer started cursing herself.

"Zoya I am so happy for you and Asad! Once you get married and live here our lives will be filled with only happiness!" said Dilshad happily

She broke the hug and kissed Zoya's forehead.

Then Muskaan and Najma hugged Zoya.

"Now on you will be our Zoya Babhi!" said Muskaan

"Ya, and everyday we will tease babhi and bhaijaan, it will be so much fun, right Muskaan?" teased Najma

"Agreed!" Muskaan teased

Zoya pulled Muskaan and Najma's ears and said,"Oh really? Then dekhlo, I will be your bhabi and I will order both of you around everyday!"

"Ok, Ok sorry Zoya babhi!" said Muskaan

Zoya let go of the girl's ears and embraces them again tightly.

"What are we waiting for? We have so much to do! We also have to get the rings and all the clothes for the engagment!"

said Dilshad

"Don't worry ammi! You have 3 super daughters to help you!"

said Muskaan proudly

"Ok, lets get to work! And Asad is coming soon." said Dilshad

Everyone started getting into work, leaving Tanveer to think of a plan to stop the engagment.

Asad came into the khan house and saw that Zoya was in the kitchen making lunch. He knew that Dilshad, Muskaan, and Najma left to get some work done for the engagment. He also thought that Tanveer was in her room occupied by her work so he knew this was his chance to spend some romantic moments with Zoya.

He walked towards the kitchen where Zoya had her back turned. He was in the kitchen and near Zoya. He extended his arms to Zoya's back and then stopped when he heard a voice and stopped.

"Jammy you are back?"

It was Tanveer. Zoya turned and was shocked to see Asad.

Asad turned red in embarresment and stammbered,"Vo..actually.." I just had to do one thing and I ame early so.."

"Ok, Jammy please sit down and I will serve you lunch."

"No, its ok you can get back to your work, Zoya can serve me lunch."

"Ok." Tanveer said a little frustrated that Zoya got to spend more time with Asad.

She left angry and Asad turned to Zoya

"Ap.. what are you doing here?" asked Zoya

"nothing, Ms. Farioqqi I am going to change and you can serve me lunch later."

Zoya nodded and Asad left frustrated that he didn't get to make his move.

Zoya smiled shyly because he knew what was going on in his mind.

Zoya was busy setting Asad's plates and setting the food that she didn't realise that Asad entered the room. He was wearing a white tee shirt with black jeans. He sat on his chair. Zoya saw him and served him food. Zoya sat down in her chair and served herself. In order to get Zoya's attention Asad spilled some of his coffee. Zoya stood and cleaned the table and took Asad'd coffee mug to pour more coffee. She handed the cup to Asad, but Asad grabbed her hand before leaving and said,"There is a stain here." Zoya took a cloth and started to clean the cup and Asad said,"No, its over there." Zoya crouched down next to Asad,"Where?" Then Asad said,"You really need your eyes checked, here I will help." He took her hand which had the cloth and helped her clean the spot. (Mitwa) Zoya looked at Asad shyly and Asad stopped and leaned closer to her. He took a strand of her hair and tucked it behind her ear. Zoya turned her head away,but Asad gently pushed her head closer to him.

Zoya stood blushing. Asad also stood, before Zoya could leave he took her hand and pulled her to him. Their noses were touching and their fingers twined. Asad put his hand on Zoya's waist while Zoya put her hand around Asad's neck. They both smiled and then Zoya spoke,"Asad the food will turn cold."

"Then let it be cold." Asad said stubbornly

They both let the moment pass by and were consumed by eachother's love.

Tanveer was watching them in disgust and said to herself,"Romance all you want, but you both will never become one!"
