I LOVED Powder...In fact, I loved most of the YRF dramas that all came out around the same time. I even liked Khotey Sikkey (😆) though the script there wasn't as tight as in R.com / powder.

In fact, when I started watching R.com and Powder that's when I realized what crap we were putting up with ... it's not as though Indian TV can't come up with a good product.

Yup! We surely have the same taste! Because just like you I loved all the YRF shows and still watch them on YT :-D They're one of the best shows indian telly has seen in the past few years :-)

Powder was superb. It's strong point was its story and the characters. I dont think I ever saw such a good, well-planned crime drama on tv before. I may have missed one or two episodes of Mahi way or rishta.com but I never used to miss Powder! Each episode had something different.

Sadly I didn't get the chance to see Khotey Shikeh and Kismat (Viraf Patel 😳) but they were good too from what little I saw of it. :-D However I agree KS didnt excite me as much as Powder or Rishta.com.

That's the thing! Indian telly has many brilliant concepts but they are so badly handled and produced. I have seen quite a few good tv shows way back when, they were all unique and awesome like Left right Left an army youth oriented show, Hotel Kingston, etc. but sadly at the end of the day, they bend backwards to satisfy the melo-drama loving audience and ultimately ruin the show.
