Hi all,

I see some posts saying that where are the woman activist today when dilshaad slapped asad? I find it funny how some people are trying to justify asad's slap by saying that.

We live in a society where men should be treated equally as women but there are so many boundaries. In this world, today financially most women make as much money as men making them equal.

However, women are still required to do housework while men do their "manly" work. Just like this, I think that when a man hits a women its a harsher crime than a woman hitting a men. A man is physically stronger giving him the advantage over the woman.

I just wanted to justify that because I am so tired of reading that ooo wheres the woman activist today? bla bla bla...

Its pretty sad that this forum is heavily dominated by woman yet they are justifying asad's slap. Its true men get further than women in their career because they support each other while us women never do.

Thoughts?

I agree with you 100%. A mother slapping a son is totally different than Asad slapping Zoya. The force from Asad's slap moved Zoya where Dilshad's slap barely moved Asad's body. I'm sure his heart was moved because his mother slapped him but I am sure he didn't feel the same pain Zoya did when he slapped her. He didn't bang into anything or get hurt in the same sense.

Regardless, it's a drama. A high voltage drama. After working all day one watches television for some entertainment. What we see on tv barely gets reflected in our real life. How many times does a girl actually fall the way Zoya does? Or how many times will our knight in shining armor come and pick us up? Come on...that totally does not happen. Even if it might have happened once it's a fluke. Anyways to gain trp's the producer has to entertain so one can forget their long hard day of work and enter the world of dreams versus reality. We shouldn't get so tied up with who slaps who and why someone is portrayed the way they are.

Come on most of Ekta's serials have taught me something in life...she kills the person off and they are revived over and over again. Only a cat has 9 lives but in Ekta's serials a human being has more than that. LOL.
