COMPARISON OF TERI MERI...

All I have to say is WHAT THE HELL... the Teri Meri sequence in QH was totally different from IPK... It wasn't even meant to create the same effect... IPK had a full length dance sequence where the hero and heroine were already in love... Here in QH, the Teri Meri was of a totally different context... It was not for the purpose of creating the magic of a full dance sequence but it was just a few steps which was like 30 seconds long just for the purpose of having a romantic scene on Valentine's day since they can't really show a full dance sequence since the love story is not at that stage...

And for people who say that Arnav and Khushi danced better, I just want to say, QH only had like 3 steps in 30 seconds which you can't compare with a full dance... Technically, it wasn't really a dance but a a moment of passion... Plus, I'm sure when Asad and Zoya have a dance sequence, they will burn all the other dance sequences ever shown on television... Barun was a good actor but let's be honest, he can't dance to save his life... Karan and Surbhi both dance really well so when they will have their dance, it will be on another level of dance, passion, and romance...

And for the people who say that it's a copy, well let me tell you that both the serials are by 4lions and both are handled by Gul Khan and Lalit Mohan... So please tell me how can somebody copy themselves...that's so dumb... Plus the version of Teri Meri used in QH is totally different than the one in IPK... It was just a fast 30 second version to give a glimpse of passion, hurt, and love on Valentine's Day.. That's it...

So people who are comparing the two are being really stupid in my opinion... The scenes are in very different circumstances and very different from IPK... Only the song was similar.. The version wasn't even similar so I don't even understand... Yes when I first saw the sequence, I knew people will bring IPK up... But there is more to the scene then just the song... If you look and observe it, I don't even understand the reason why it's being compared other than the song...

Does anyone have an answer to this???? Why are the scenes being compared ignoring the fact that the song was similar???

Ps... TERI MERI doesn't belong to IPK or Arnav and Khushi... It was first picturized by Salman and Kareena.. I don't see people bringing that up... I also sang Teri Meri on stage, does that make the song mine??? No.. Shreya Ghoshal and Rahat Sir sang it for Body guard and made it free for everybody to listen ... So I don't understand the hype over it... I even read a lot of the YouTube comments and all of them are comparing the couples and dance... Like WTH

people seriously need to stop bringing IPPKND in everything.

I know right... That show is done... Get over it...,, life doesn't start ad end with IPK... Everybody is like bashing and bad mouthing QH and saying that Humein Qubool Nahin Hai and all that just because IPK shut down... So... It's not QH fault... It was the stories fault... The story sucked after February last year... I mean seriously... Is it nessacary to bring up IPK into everything... I was so pissed when someone made a post saying how QH is a recycled serial... Dude... IPK or GEET were not original ideas either.. They were both similar to KMH, Jassi Jaisi Koi Nahin, Kasturi, etc... And the list goes on...

Atleast QH didn't have stupid office romance which is in every Kekta Maiyya Balaji Serial...

It has a good story and for the first time, a heroine that I can relate to... A heroine who doesn't cry for everything, is free minded, and strong... Not like the others where they cry in every single little scene...UGH. BORING...

I'm not comparing, I'm just trying to say that these too serials should not be compared because they are different... Asad is religious and believes in marriage.. He respects women and his family whereas Arnav hates women, hates life, hates the thought of marriage, etc.. Just because they are both stern and angry characters doesnt make them the same... On the other hand Zoya is fun-loving, doesn't have a family, free minded, not a crybaby, not a whiner, modern, intelligent, and loves Shayeris... Khushi love Jalebi's, doesn't even know thE 'M' of modern, quite dumb, loves to cook, give 'O' expressions, whines about everything, and cries a lot... I'm not saying anything about the actors but simply the characters to show the differences...

In fact, I think IPK and GEET were more similar to each other than QH..l Gul even agreed that IPK was a recycled version of GEET to make it better... I don't see people bring that up...

All I'm saying is that people get defensive when their favorite gets compared or bashed.. I'm not saying IPK is bad... Trust me, I sacrificed my job for IPK so I can watch it right when it comes on-air so I know... I was really emotionally attached to that serial because I was going through a hard time yet the romance made me feel better... But, that's a closed chapter and it shouldn't be compared or interfering with QH and it's story/potential... IPK didn't shut down because of QH but because the story sucked, the lead actor quit, and everybody was upset... QH is not even related to IPK... It's just another project... If Balaji can have 10 serials going on at once why can't 4 lions have 2 or 3?? They are a production house who wants to grow and make money... They created something beautiful and they didn't want to kill it.. But unfortunately , it ended up the way it did... But please, don't compare or blame QH for it... It should affect QH...
