Poor girl but brilliant acting!
As soon as Najma opened the door her face said it all. Shock, hurt, and I saw a question in her face. She was looking at her father and her eyes were asking all the questions the poor girl has always wondered about.
Why did you leave me?
Why don't you love me?
The hurt, the feeling of being abandoned and ignored were all there.
And then when the scene changes to Ayaan and the other daughter, I felt angry. Why did these kids get all the love, attention, and happiness? Why was Nagma robbed of this?
I want to say that at least Rashid looked equally emotional in the scene and the tears helped BUT he is a horrible father - no matter what excuses he has.
I wanted Zoya to give Nagma a big hug.
