Vicky.

I don't like you or your ability to convey everything so beautifully.

WHY must you do this? Anyway, this was an amazing post woman! Brilliantly written and put across. Remind me WHY you don't write OSes or FFs or something? 😆

Kudos!

Victoria (Vicky), I love reading your posts on this board. I have been observing this forum for a while now and I really appreciate your analysis when I stumble upon it. You write beautifully and also objectively. Please keep up this great work.

Having said that, I wanted to comment on one of the other comments made here which made me think about Asad, Ayan and Rashid's relationship. Today's episode did a wonderful job in portraying the underlying conflict that exists for the major characters and the plot itself -- reconciliation of relationships, esp between the two families.

Now here's my off-tangent thought. What if the so-called "sacrifice" that we expect Ayaan to make is not his possible future love for Zoya but for his father? Asaad not only keeps himself away from Rashid bc of his anger towards the man, but he also feels that Rashid has removed Asad's rights to be part of Rashid's world/life. For Rashid to become more involved in Dilshaad, Nazma and Asad's lives, Shireen and her families will have to sacrifice as well, and the initiation of those sacrifices may be started off with Ayaan.

This is just a random thought ... it could also be shown that somehow the two families will make complete peace and live all together with all the siblings and wives happy =) Also, Ayaan's ultimate sacrifice for Asad could simply be Zoya...who knows?

Thanks a lot for following my posts. I appreciate it very much. 😊...what you are saying is also possible - Ayaan can sacrifice Rashid for him but like you said, Zoe would be the ultimate sacrifice to be done for Asad.

And i love how you have put it- Today's episode did a wonderful job in portraying the underlying conflict that exists for the major characters and the plot itself -- reconciliation of relationships, esp between the two families.👏

a totally emotionally draining epi...all the actors were just outstanding in their characters...
Shireen...really wanted to hug her...though she is scared she told Rashid to go to Dilshad...
Zoya...how she cries...(and to think we still may have to see more tomorow also...😭)...and her fear of Asad ...😲
loved Ayaan supporting Asad, najma and rashid...

Thanks. 😊...Yes, an emotionally draining episode and how well the helplessness and conflicts of relationships were highlighted. Zoe is fearful of Asad and that is true - but she has her own anger as well, so, lets see how it plays out.

Ayaan was a pillar yesterday to his both families and it was nice to see.

Beautiful update of a very emotional episode, Victoria. For me the scene which stood out was that of a lion making puppy eyes, watching his brother and dad in an embrace. The scene had so much poignancy.. his helplessness, his yearning! KSG rocks! Overall it was a total emotional n sentimental episode but thankfully was not overboard. The directors and actors did a superb job!

Thanks. I agree the emotional impact of Asad watching his father and siblings was powerful. And that too without going overboard. Handled very well. 😊

I am a Hindu and inspite of having a huge circle of Muslim friends, my Urdu vocabulary is kind of C grade, yet this particular song , sung so brilliantly and soulfully by Salim and Sulaiman is always a spiritual experience. I don't understand much of the song , especially the starting references used to address the Almighty . Yet, i feel its one of the most honest prayers sung and it just cradles your faith in HIM.

Today, it was used in the episode and two particular lines of a stanza summed it up all soulfully and beautifully.

"Jazbaat kya hai, Maula, haalat kya hain Maula,
Ke shaatir iske saare waar hain."

Circumstances. Troubled emotions. Emotional rage. Internal terror. These have been defining the story ever since Dilshie got shot. Everyone today, either showed a soft -sensitive side ( Shireen, Nuzrat), or showed power of faith in God ( Zoe), or showed strength of sentiment ( Aasd-Ayaan) or burst into a puff of helpless emotions ( Tamaatar).

Today, it was not about who was right or who was wrong. It was about showing you a myriad of how expansive and deep human sentiments of all kinds can run if they are true and selfless. Asad wanted to hug someone and cry out , but he stayed as steady and controlled as he could. Ayaan knew he can do nothing to change the situation but he broke barriers and came for his brother. Shireen knows deep down that someday she will lose Rashid to Dilshee but she showed heart and honour telling Rashid to go to Dilshee. Rashid's mother decided to take a stand for her son and sent her prayers to Dilshee. Zoe, not forgetting the horror of seeing Dilshee getting shot or the emotional rage of Asad that hurt her physically and emotionally , she stuck to her faith and prayed to God with tears that never stopped. Tamaatar , the manifestation of what everyone was feeling , sought solace in everyone , just so that someone tells her that her Mom is gonna be fine.

Three scenes stand out for me:

1. The sight of Zoe kneeling in Namaaz and her prayers coming straight from her heart. She was such a moving sight . Emphasizing what Asad had said - "Duaaon mein bahot asar hota hai."

2. Asad not hugging his father or seeking support in him even in this trying time. He saw Ayan and Tamaatar hug him, but he stayed where he was - alienated from him. True to his unforgiving character.

3. Shireen's heart-to-heart talk with her daughters where she says - Tumhaari Ammi buri aurat nahin hain.

Anyway, Dilshie has survived and everyone can hide their vulnerability now . Asad. Rashid and Zoe can wear their masks again now.

P.S- I do NOT need another whining music session on the 'slap' since the forum has shown enough obsession for the same. So, kindly, spare me the horrors while replying to me. If you cannot, kindly feel free to ignore me and my nonsense.

Awesome analysis...thank youthank you
