Guys jus relax why everyone is making suha an issue out of this thapar

Think bout the guy whoz bout to loose his mom for foreva ( i really hope she wont die)

I think i will b a way more mad than that even being a grl i wil go crazy if i also had that misunderstaning. doesnt matter if ur a guy or a girl buh it hurts the most when somone hurts ur parents speially mom.

Now Asad's character i think is kinda hott headed so i think it does justify the thapar and he wil regreat like hell when he finds out it wasnt zoya's fault that Mariam was at his house even when he asked her to send her away.

Sorry if i hav offended nyone jus wanted to share my views as i came across many topics calling that thappar domenstic violence and stuff

i agree that he was sad & angry BUT slapping a girl is just not the way asad's character is shown from d very 1st epi.

this was just not him.

its hard to beleive that this is the same asad who preaches about 'tahzeeb' 'culture' 'tradition' 'respecting women' etc etc

which culture preaches that hitting a woman is OKAY for a man who is in a bad mood????

i'm really very disappointed right now!!

that is the problem hre right now

everyone is taking it as guy slapping a grl dey don understand his situation and tmrow hes gonna b regreating like hell for this slap

so thats wht we are saying that we should not fuss ova a slap

am not justifying his slap.. but i will justify the slap.. because it was meant to convey that he was a male chauvinistic ***.
asad had asked zoya for confirmation that mariyam had left his house, and she gave it. he had clearly told her the reason he wanted maryam gone, to protect his family. .. and zoya agreed with him.. later, he saw mariyam in the house and his mom shot.. he slapped her for lying to him, breaking his trust... he never considered for a moment that there might be another explanation. that makes him an MCP.

yes, he will regret hitting her, but that does not mean that he can hit a person when he is upset.. especially not a girl. yes, there are people who say "a slap is nothing, a husband beating his wife is perfectly legal, a girl deserves one tight slap for all she did". those people need to learn that violence is an animalistic and not something you do if you know what is human.
