I doubt she will forgive him that easily this time. As you said before, this is time for the triangle to start. Asad will repent and hurt himself now.

Yes Vineeta it's a weird way of showing 'haq' in stories. Even Devdas hit Paro and gave her a permanent scar on her forehead. I think the PH was clever in showing this thappad...if you look carefully, it seems like he is just swinging his hand in rage and Zoya just happened to be in his line of fire. If there was a piece of glass or a flower vase instead, he would have broken that. So, this thappad can go both ways and that's why there are so many opinions on this forum.

I just want Zoya to keep her self respect and not try to give him any explanations at this point. Let him figure it out and repent.

Hey agree to you after watching episode, it was more swinging not thappar, why so much roar I fail to understand. He was very high in emotions, she came to talk and he just got even madder and spunned his hand, and Zoya's face was right there..
Thappar is a direct slap, not this. I am not at all upset now, I mean there is no degradation of character I like so much.
But yes Zoya should not forget it whatever, she doesnt deserve this. No one without telling their end of story..
Anyways soon he will find out, that she saved Dilsaad actually by fighting off that goon..

For me this is just a 20 minutes mindless (you have to leave behind logic) gimmick.

Edit:

Yes ...expectations definitely should be low ...less disappointment. Some people will argue that we should not settle for less but at the end of the day we have to agree that Indian TV hasn't moved beyond kitchen politics and duppata flying romance.

Agree kahani. We all ave different reasons to watch soaps. I watch this one for KSG and his acting skills. Story will have its ups and downs. I don't get too hyper either way.

Don't worry...they will show him do something really big for zoya. He will suffer more than she will..lets give it sometime.

I agree, in real life, this would be totally unacceptable to me as a woman but I understand this is a fictional show. They have to sensationalize everything. Why do you think 50 shades of Gray is such a bestseller? Do you think in real life, any woman would want Christian Grey as a lover?

Unfortunately, TV shows and media glamorize aggression against women in the name of 'deep hidden love'

In the end the logic would be-, AAK feels his 'haq' on ZF and that's why he is the only one who can kiss her or hit her...no one else can

Don't get too worked up. The thappad has served it's purpose...people will be glued to QH more than they have and it's going to be a win-win situation for the channel and the PH.

It's all about the bottom line...

yes, we know this is just a fiction but slapping a women is not heroic .
There is no reason to encourage domestic violence and we should express our grudge and protest...

Yes, bheegi 4 lions are expert in this. In IPKKND, the hero drops the heroine from 1st floor of his office. In his first encounter, he tears the pearl threads of the heroine's blouse, and after forced marriage makes her sleep outside his room on floor in winter! And still remains the HERO! Compared to that I think this is milder!

Sorry for rambling even i don't understand what i wrote.

If that's what they are planning, this will be the logical point to initiate the traingle

As for, AAK I had problem with his line of thinking from day 1. This particular scene did not bother me as much as it did to others. But I do think he has a lot of room for improvement

I haven't seen her previous shows but I do like zoya's character and I like KSG...that's the only reason I am still watching this show. Asad's character has lots of layers but his anger issues would be hard to deal with for a normal woman. You are right- hopefully it's zoya who can help him get over his anger issues and resolve his conflicts.
