I think the PH was clever in showing this thappad...if you look carefully, it seems like he is just swinging his hand in rage and Zoya just happened to be in his line of fire. If there was a piece of glass or a flower vase instead, he would have broken that. So, this thappad can go both ways and that's why there are so many opinions on this forum.

I just want Zoya to keep her self respect and not try to give him any explanations at this point. Let him figure it out and repent.

Yes ...expectations definitely should be low ...less disappointment. Some people will argue that we should not settle for less but at the end of the day we have to agree that Indian TV hasn't moved beyond kitchen politics and duppata flying romance.

I agree, in real life, this would be totally unacceptable to me as a woman but I understand this is a fictional show. They have to sensationalize everything. Why do you think 50 shades of Gray is such a bestseller? Do you think in real life, any woman would want Christian Grey as a lover?

Unfortunately, TV shows and media glamorize aggression against women in the name of 'deep hidden love'

In the end the logic would be-, AAK feels his 'haq' on ZF and that's why he is the only one who can kiss her or hit her...no one else can

Don't get too worked up. The thappad has served it's purpose...people will be glued to QH more than they have and it's going to be a win-win situation for the channel and the PH.

It's all about the bottom line...

All of Gul's heros are A**holes 😆 They are all flawed and they all have anger issues. I always watch her shows for her heroins. They sort of set their heros right 😆. And I like to watch that process. As for, AAK I had problem with his line of thinking from day 1. This particular scene did not bother me as much as it did to others. But I do think he has a lot of room for improvement
