Asad is already fighting his emotions, I guess he already knows what is going on inside of him, hence wants to stay away from her. Let's see how far he comes with that 😆
Zoya is not there yet, but she also cannot stay away from Mr. Khan..the way she was behaving like a cute kid...so adorable 😳
If only Asad said something nice to her, she would have accepted the gift...but Asad is Asad afterall right...he again uses his defense mechanism to shield his inner turmoil and in the process ends up hurting Zoya...
I just loved the MITWAA moment...the way Asad looked down at Zoya and didn't want to let her go...

Humaira was great today...she has proven how much she loves Ayaan...his happiness means her happiness. I wish that one day, Ayaan realises how much Humaira loves him

One disappointing issue I have with today's episode or rather pre-cap is : Zoya hiding Mariyam in her room without telling Asad about it, even though Asad warned her...If he discovers, again he will be mad at Zoya and thinking she lied to him ...
I hope she tells him the truth tomorrow

The characters Asad and Zoya are growing on me steadily.

Asad gets completely restless. He is not able to sit still when he knows his pretty princess is out in the open, all alone in the dark, without a cell phone, when the dangerous men haven't stopped looking for their daughter, and when the habit of Ms. NY has not gotten out of the habit of asking for trouble.

He looks at the door infinite times to open and let his lady in. But no, she doesn't want him to be at ease yet. The incoming phone call made him jump out of his skin. He almost against all odds want that call to be from his Ms. Farooqui. He wants to know who called. He asks his sister trying to be matter-of-fact. Oh, boy! What a tangled web you weave when you start to deceive your feelings from self, Asad!

He waits on her. All the self-control, restlessness, anxiety getting out of control, and there he sees his angel through the door. He involuntarily pulls himself up feeling so relieved to see her but immediately controls himself and anchors himself back to the seat as he fumbles with addressing her. So cute. KSG did an amazing job in that scene (which act of his is so nonchalant so to speak, man! he does every scene with such details and attention and does it perfect to the T).

It hurts him to feel for her and he is not able to stop himself from doing that. It hurts him to let her know of his feelings. It hurts him when she tries to get close to him, be friends with him. It hurts him when she gets angry and dejected for his behavior. He wants her to feel the pain that she instills in him. He makes sure that his jibes give her equivalent pain. Reacting to the pain as a result to the pain that she felt at his painful words and behavior, he is compelled to hurt her further. There isn't a moment of late he wondered why on earth did he meet her, why did she make an impact on him as she does, why can't he completely take her off his mind and body. He is fighting really hard to come to terms with his body and mind.

He does not want anyone entering his quarantined life. He has theorized love and pain to be synonymous. His mother's love for her husband, his love for his father and half-brother, his father's love for the two women in his life, love between the half-siblings always have been unfilled and left with the yearning for something that they can never fulfill. Pain has only been the outcome of all their love. He consciously attempts not to fall for anyone and avoids anyone getting closer to him. Ms. NY is unconsciously but dangerously testing the shackle.

He is able to control his mind to some extent, but his body is not as much in control. The moment she fell on his lap as a soft bundle of treat, his body reacted to her proximity like dry wood and forest fire. His eyes bore into hers searching for the same intensity and insanity. A moment longer, he would have lost all his marbles. Ms. NY composed herself quickly to bring Mr. Jahanpannah back to his senses. Oh, I love these two.
