Patrama Prem ~ A Gosham SS
Hi Sangeeta (my "brilliant" deduction from this thread ;)
agree that he is enigmatic but at the the same time this character is well defined than most male leads. We already know lots about him. We know he is he way he is because of the separation of his parents. His father issues are so brilliantly portrayed by KSG. During the confrontations with Ayaan's family, when mamu was verbally attacking him, the look he gives his father was amazing. You see his pain and all the unresolved father/son issues, his eyes display them like a deep open wound. His love and dedication to his family is admirable. Which is in complete contrast with how he treats Zoya. He never listens to her, he is close minded, he doesn't see the pain he feels is exactly the same displayed in Zoya's eyes. He hates everything she stands for and does but jumps into her messes with both feet. Why do we love these flawed characters better than the perfect ones?

really nicely written! 😊..loved reading every sentence!
I love how his character is written! They have not hidden his not so good side (i.e his opinion about western clothes and judging from that point of view) It's not all goody goody and showing him all as the best person ever!.. Hopefully gradually showing how his character develops a different opinion of things!.. 😊
Thanks Davneet. Good to see old Armaan fans gravitating to this forum gradually. Yeah, KSG does a great job in portraying his characters. This one is probably more difficult for him as it is very different from who he is in real life.

you are soo true about Asad, u've done an excellent character portray. he simply has masked all his feelings behind a straight face and angry young man's looks because of losing such an important relation from his life and dat also wen he needed it the most. he is scared to open his heart. his love for his family and Ayaan is remarkable. the new feelings he's experiencing due to Zoya, will put him through a battle of mind and heart. there'll be a change in his character too. and i expect him to show cold shoulder to her once on returning back to bhopal after all the close moments during the trip, thinking it the only way to subside his emerging feelings. kyunki i dont think he'l be so outoing to convey his feelings to her, it would be a surprise for Zoya. She needs to find dis out on her own like everytime she follows him thinking him to b on a secret mission.
i will wait for Zoya's post from u.
