Did anyone else think that today's QH segment (Maha sangam) was brimming with both sadness and restlessness?
I will be strictly discussing QH only, since I don't follow the other serial (PV).
I was really looking forward to today's episode and cannot say that it disappointed me. After all, everything I ever wanted in QH is AsYa...and they gave us AsYa (in a short span though). But instead of cheering like a true blue fangirl, I sat motionless the whole time.
Firstly, today's (fake) incident at Mamujan's house totally ruined the sweet bond between Ayaan-Humeira. I feel disgusted to even discuss it (Razia, no words to describe your act today). It also destroyed Humeira's innocence forever. She learnt her first lesson in wrongdoing - 'kuch paane ke liye kuch khona padta hai', even if it costs your morality and values. Bravo, Razia.
Coming to AsYa now. I liked the whole concept of eloping on bike, pyar ki handcuff, proximity effect in dark room 😆, miyaa-biwi ki acting, family planning 😳 and the usual AsYa banters (special mention to Asad feeding Zoya with his own hand and protecting her at the police station). However, the most romantic 'Lag ja gale' moment felt the saddest moment also. AsYa's eyes are the saddest eyes to ever meet each other (and comparing that to Punarvivah couples light romantic mood made it even worse).
Asad (a brilliant brilliant KSG), who has experienced the worst in life being the eldest son of a broken home and constantly struggling to come in terms with his past, expressed it all through his eyes.
Zoya (Surbhi, I am speechless!), who has successfully hidden all her pains in a ever-smiling face, finally showed signs of breaking down today.
These two need each other desperately, and maybe started to realize that too.
However, I have a hollow feeling in my stomach that tells me maybe all these were too good to be everlasting. There was such an aura of fragile, delicate beauty about the whose scene that made my heart weep (seriously, am I the only one who felt in this way 😳?)
Because at the end of the day, we all know that Asad will not even think twice before sacrificing everything for his brother. It is Zoya who concerns me more. She doesn't know herself how much she has already surrendered to Asad. Can't see her in pain 🤔
"shayad phir is janam mein/ Mulakat Ho Na Ho" Why?
