okay i am sorry for not replying sooner but i was busy with other stuff and my ff so couldn't pay attention her. i don't have enough time to reply individually so i will just clear out slight confusions.
1- all the examples i had given out of those only 2 involve death so i don't think the argument that most of them involve the death of the previous lover is right.
2- okay out of all those examples i am taking only devdas in consideration because i think it is the best suited for this discussion.
in devdas paro loves devdas but she marries someone else. throughout the film she choses comitment over love and as i later conceded that that could be the case with zoya. also devdas loves paro and till the end loves her but later on his heart melts towards chandramukhi's devotion to him and he does confess that he loves her. that doesn't mean he does not love paro or that his love for chandramukhi is lust or that chandramukhi is just a rebound for him. now please don't say its okay for him because he is a man because if anyone evn comments that over here i will see to it that i do not evr discuss anything with that person. i am very sensitive when it comes to women-men issues.
the main thing i want to say is that we should not protest the track before it has even started. to be honest right now if you ask me i would say that this track would be interesting and i will a\watch QH even then. if someone doesn't want to watch it it is their choice as we watch TV to relax and enjoy. no point if you cannot enjoy it. but you should give it a try. if you decide that before even the track starts you won't watch it because it is against your favorite pairing then that's unfair. also if you do believe that asya will always be the endgame think of the love triangle track as a test to their love.
personally right now even though i am looking forward to this love triangle i am rooting for asya and why not? i mean all we have seen till now is only asya. if gul khan further gives us a reason then i cannot promise to still root for asya because as much as i have seen her skills she has a way of making people like or hate characters as per the story's demand. now lets see if she can do the same with a ship this time. it would be a challenge for her. a huge risk but worthwhile if it works.
