asad-zoya-ayaan love triangle discussion.

Okay I know there have been many posts about this before but I want to say something too and wanted one place where all could agree or disagree to it. The topic I have taken up is asad-zoya-ayaan love triangle. Do not bash me. I know this is a very long post but what to do? I can't shut up once I start talking😆. So please have a liberal mind and a very huge patience to read the entire thing and start reading.

Well many have said that it would be utterly unacceptable for ayaan and zoya to fall in love but I think otherwise. I know where all the opposition to ayaan and zoya love story is coming from. It's obvious and understandable because we in india have always believed in one love. Fidelity as we say it. That is why we cannot forgive Rashid for leaving dilshad and choosing shereen for personal gains. But in real life it happens. And that's what qubool hai is all about. It depicts the everyday life and problems in a relationship. And it is always possible for one person to have feelings for two people at the same time. it happens in almost every long term relation.

And this concept is not new. Vampire diaries and twilight are the biggest examples. And all of you now will say that these shows are teen vamp flicks well then I have more examples for you.

Pearl harbour- where the lead dies and his girlfriend falls for his best friend and marries him. When the lead returns she has to choose between her love and her husband.

Khwaish- this was a ekta kapoor serial on sony some years back about a muslim house hold in dubai. The girl afreen marries kabir but he dies the day she comes to know that she is pregnant so she is forced to marry his brother. She falls in love with him later but kabir's look alike comes to her and she is left with a choice.

Kasauti zindagi ki: I don't have to talk anymore. Every one knows this serial which was in high demand until they took the next generation leap.

Dil mil gaye: ridhima when marries siddharth she is torn between her love for arman and siddharht after arman returns.

Skip beat: Taiwanese drama where the girl loves a singer who in return just uses her to get to his goal. When she understands this her love for him turns to hatred and she swears to take revenge. In the process of achieving this she enters his world and falls in love with the no. 1 actor but later she has to choose between 1^st love and her 2^nd. That's where the series ends. And we don't know her choice.

Full house- this was a very famous Korean serial which won best Asian drama award and was even broadcasted in india on channel sahara firangi where i happened to see it and got an addiction of korean japanese and taiwanese serials. This was a story of a writer getting into a contract marriage with an actor. The actor's best friend fall for her. The actor assumes that his wife too loves his best friend and divorces her leading to a brief relationship between her and his best friend.

Hana kimi and you are beautiful- both have almost the same love situations where the girl pretends to be a boy and falls in love with her classmate/collegue. But another guy too falls for her. In you are beautiful the other guy knows about her being a girl but in hana kimi the other guy thinks he is homosexual for falling for her but still is ready to confess his feelings. But in you are beautiful there is a third guy who too falls for the main lead which makes it a square rather than triangle and its really heart breaking to see that she does not return his feelings.

And why go out of india. In india there have been epic love stories which have love triangles that have worked really well. Films like hum dil de chuke sanam and devdas. It just goes to show that a love triangle in qubool hai can work even without any one dying. Because if asad dies we ksg fans will die and if ayaan dies then we ksg fans will indirectly die because if ayaan dies then asad won't live and without asad we won't be able to live.😛

So this is a sincere request to all QHians that don't say no to this track without giving it a try.it is like a child saying stubbornly no to anything new his mom makes without even tasting it because he want's chocolate(asya)😳

As much as I can see this story line has full potential to become something great. Like every other story of 4lions. Be it ipkknd, geet, suvreen guggal, humse hai life or anyother serial.

As told by gul herself that QH is not a story of 2 brothers fighting for a girl. It is much more then that. Its about how one tends to accept what god gives them and move on. Till now we have seen that asad and zoya have gone through almost similar past and if mamujaan is zoya's father then zoya has suffered even more than asad. But unlike asad who is stuck in the anger and hatred for his father and his past zoya has accepted the death of her mother and she is trying her level best to know, accept her past and move on. That shows zoya's ability to accept her fate. She leaves her decisions to destiny. Asad on the other hand makes things happen his way. So when he will know about his and ayaan's feelings towards zoya he would do anything to deny his feelings for her and give her to ayaan even if he has to marry someone else. His marrying someone else who is dark hearted but a woman with good tehzeeb is needed very much. Because it will make asad realize exactly how wrongly he has judged zoya time and again. He will realise the importance of good heart and feelings. On the other hand ayaan will be the support that zoya needs after her heart break. Ayaan will love her but zoya will take his hand for his support for emotional (heartbreak) and personal (visa) problems. And it's human to take that support. Seriously I am bored of seeing an angelic heroine who would sacrifice anything and everything for even a stranger. Its time they show some human like characters. Zoya marrying ayaan would be more like a drowning person catching hold of a floating tube. But then again her differences with his family and the identity of mamujaan as her father who left her would drive her to divorce ayaan. But by then things would have changed. Ayaan's care and love will obviously make a good hearted zoya care and to a certain extent love him. On the other hand asad will realise his mistake and he would be dying to be with zoya again. Somehow ayaan would convince asad and zoya who now has come to care for him to get married in order for him to marry zoya again. And that's when the whole theme of the show will come into picture. Zoya who has till now just said qubool hai to everything given to her by god will for the 1^st time be forced to make a choice. Asad and ayaan will be equally balanced. Asad hurt her first but at that time ayaan supported her. When ayaan hurt her next asad supported her. She respects asad and cares for ayaan but loves them both and both love her back. Asad and ayaan being the awesome brothers will leave the choice to her because asad would never force her again to choose ayaan seeing first time what it led to. And that would be the greatest test of zoya's love. If zoya chooses asad it the whole process would be her test for her. And if she chooses ayaan it would be that after falling in love the second time she realised what she wanted and what makes her happy. It would be a choice between a life she wanted with asad and a life she could have had with ayaan.

But this is my view entirely. All I wanted is for everyone to give a chance to gul khan and let her try this story. Please it is a request from me to a nation that worships lord Krishna who loved radha and married rukmini. Goes to show how love knows no religion.😃

I think my only problem with this track would be that it's already been done so many times as you stated. Why can't we just have a love story without any third person coming. There are hundreds of other possible tracks to follow rather than the typical obvious love triangle.

A very long post indeed. "Life imitates Art and Art imitates Life" is true. People do make decisions that they will or might repent later. It probably was the best decision at the time for them. Anyways, Rashid left Dilshaad for Shireen. At that point, the most practical thing to do for Dilshaad is to cut him off cleanly. Don't tell me it is not possible when you are in love. If you still love a person after he or she cheated on you, humiliated you, then I don't call that love. I call that stupidity. In those lines, whatever examples you gave, the woman was left with no choice but to choose someone else. They didn't do it when the other person was alive and in front of them, so those are not really comparable to this story where all three of them are alive in my opinion.
Let's say Zoya and Ayaan fall for each other and get married. Then it won't work out so they get a divorce. I can live with that. People do fall in and out of love and marriage. But, I cannot digest if he makes Asad marry her with a goal of making them get a divorce so that he can get her back. It is 21st century. These characters have been shown to be liberated ones, not that orthodox.
I used to read redux of IPKKND and there people would decode every scene, positioning of the things in a room and the dialogues. I don't believe in it anymore since the story is written based on public feedback, TRP and availability of the actors and actresses in these soaps.
So, Ayaan's saying that a girl will come in between them might be true in the sense of just infatuation from his side.
My experience from these stories, opposites attract and Zoya and Ayaan are very similar in almost everything. That was very clearly visible in yesterday's episode when Ayaan stood up for Asad.
And zoya's BIL's saying that Marriage is everything to Zoya. Once married, she will do whatever is needed to make it work. If that dialogues is going to stick around, there is no way she will let Ayaan divorce her - that is if the director doesn't use the talkh talakh thing and go for the court route.

Moving on and heartbreak is reality certainly. But showing Zoya in love with both Ayaan and Asad at the same time IMO will definitely shallow things down for me.

If Zoya truly moves on, has no feelings for Asad and falls in love with Ayaan I have no problem. But if she's going to juggle between the two a la vampire diaries it won't sit well with me.
