Asad stood in front of the moist window in his bedroom. The snow was piling higher and higher, he definitely isn't going to work, even if he wanted to. He looked back hearing his wife, Zoya, enter the bedroom. She held a plate full of food, all of which were for her self, he couldn't blame her, she was 6 months pregnant and needed to eat a lot. He walked over to her and helped her sit on the bed and set the plate in front of her. The plate had Chocolate, Cake, muffins, and other varieties of sweet food.

"Did she want diabetes?" He thought, but then smiled as he watched her eat. They had visited the doctor about 3 days ago, and had found out the sex of their baby. A girl, just as they wanted. Their living room downstairs was stuffed with bags of baby clothing, baby toys and other necessary items, that which they had not yet set into the nursery. He crossed his arms.

Asad: Don't you think your taking in too much sugar?

She looked up to his face, her mouth stuffed with the cake she was eating. Without paying any heed to his question she went back to eating. This was the time, the time she could eat all she wanted then after the delivery she would exercise all the baby fat.

Zoya: You've got a problem?

She finally replied

Asad: I was asking the questions… Anyways 'm going out to shovel the snow out the driveway

Zoya: Right now? It's very cold out, and I don't want you sick…

Asad: It'll be fast okay…

He walked out. Zoya crossed her arms; it was Christmas Eve and Jahapanah Six-Packs had no time for her. Was it because she'd gotten so fat?

She looked at the cake and placed the plate on the night stand. She still remembered the time when she was a slim hottie, and Asad would come home extra early from work just to be with her. She stood up and walked to the window and watched the snow fall. But those days were long gone, they've shifted here in Long Island a couple of months back due to work issues and all Asad thought about now was work. She had a feeling they were growing old. Their relationship was growing old; face it they would be parents in 2 months or so. But couldn't they enjoy this time? She closed her eyes for god knows how long.

She felt his arms snake around her waist. They were a bit cold but he was here, holding her. He kissed he cheek, and whispered an I love you. She opened her eyes and smiled "never mind, he does love me" She thought. She pulled his arms around her and hugged him back, the family was yet to be complete, they had 2 months, but that was enough time for them to enjoy each others company.….

"Words don't need to be spoken to express love…"
