Hey Jojo,

The previous update evoked the strongest responses from the readers. People ether loved it or hated it! For me personally it was a tough one to write. There's a fine line between sexual violence and sexual aggression.

Asad is not all white, nor is Zoya. In reality, we are all shades of grey, some more than the others. And the characters needed that dose of reality.

At the same time, I can't imagine Zoya with an Asad who doesn't think he screwed up earlier... So the only way this story could proceed for me is if he apologised.

Yup, just like Asad na... He's not buying time, he's genuinely interested in getting those shards out of the way. I wanted Zoya to be perceptive, realise that something was amiss... I mean one day this guy is all sweet and caring and the next day, a rogue!

I considered letting them move apart because the misunderstanding continues at his end and she doesn't want anything to do with a jerk. But that's a bit cliched 😉 and I wanted them to behave like rational adults, not perfect all the time but yes, willing to admit their mistakes.

Spot on, Sona! Conversations instead of accusations, resolving misunderstanding... So things can move forward. I just hope it's before Ayaan arrives.
