Totally Unexpected

Is it just me, or is Zoya totally putting the moves on Asad???😆😃😉 And I must say, this is totally unexpected. Usually the girl goes off on some spiel about how she 'hates him' and all that. And the guy reciprocates. But the guy kind of sort of knows that its just attraction that's causing the tension.
But here Zoya very clearly saw what she saw, liked what she saw, and is now teasing Asad about their own private joke!😲 And Asad's very out of his element.

AWESOME. I have never ever seen anything of the sort between two leads on television.


Now this is just a prediction. But (1) maybe what happens is that the two get their flirt on. However innocent, un-agenda filled it may be. Then Zoya's connection to Ayan's house is revealed. And she meets and falls for Ayan? I'm trying to figure out which relationship comes first. Asad's and that girl he gets engaged too, or Ayan and Zoya. I have a sneaking suspicion its Asad's first. But I could be wrong. I really want to be actually. I disliked Arnav's using Lavanya in IPKKND (sorry for the mention 😃), and Asad, for all his regressive (and i can use that word b/c Zoya did 👏) ways, he doesn't seem like a mean guy. He's not unpleasant, just principled and somber.

What about all of you? What was your reaction to today's scene, and what track do you think Asad and Zoya will take from here?

i actually love Asad the way he is and Zoya the way she is it will actually help us to look forward the Lead as they share a differnt bond in not a love hate realtionship at all

@ziyamalhotra: Exactly. I'm looking forward to this show more and more. I definitely think these two will share a non-hate based love. They'll be friends I think. Its interesting. I can never predict what their next conversation will be like.

I absolutely adore zoya and asad,, and todays episode was so suprising. yet natural. zoya makes me laugh, shes innocent yet so forward at the same time.. for example the way she told asad he doesnt need to fear her. i love that she burst into a song 'jaane kyu' at the end of the episode,,, she aint forgetting six pac in a long time😆 And your right asad does not know how to react to her. love the chemistry.

yeah.. thats why i like zoya a lot .. totally different .. I am loving her character sketch a lot.. I myself is sometimes clumsy like her so I understand :) ..

Today last bit was simply awesome.. next full week we will have fun ..

I hope Asad and Zoya fall for each other only. Ayaan and Zoya can be friends and maybe ayaan develops feeling for her. But on Zoya's part it should be friendship only.

i felt same too, its going opposite for Asad and Zoya and in upcoming episodes if Zoya flirts with him i wont be surprise

I was extremely surprised that they showed Zoya actually TEASING Asad about the incident. Usually what happens in most shows is that the girl just becomes flustered, shares a romantic moment with the boy, and runs away all flabbergasted. Here, Zoya is the complete opposite! Her reaction was comedic, heck she even laughed at him while leaving the bathroom. She was not the least bit embarrassed or shy. It's so refreshing to see I cannot tell you lol. And teasingly singing the song out loud 😆 This is one of the reasons why I absolutely adore Zoya. She might even be my most fav female character on Indian tv!

About their love story, it's difficult to predict what will happen at what time. But I love how their relationship is progressing. It's definitely not the typical love-hate one we see in every other show. They bump heads but they don't hate each other. Dislike, yes possibly, but not hate. And today the dynamics of their relationship changed a bit... now they have inside jokes, teasing, and possibly even flirting (probably only from Zoya's side right now lol). It's become less serious. Who knows maybe even paving the road to a possible friendship

Charishma, first of all it's good to see you here, I've missed your posts!

And second, loved what you wrote, as usual! I have really liked Zoya's character from the beginning, she can be a little immature and disorganized but I appreciate and agree with everything she stands for! I love her boldness, her forthright behavior and her outspokenness against everything that she considers wrong!

I loved the way she set Asad right about his view of what the respect and tehzeeb are because she the way we dress is not indicative of the person we really are. Respect needs to come from the heart, it needs to be sincere and just because a person is "westernized" doesn't mean they automatically have no regard for their culture and religion!

And of course the best part was her reaction to seeing Asad in the bath tub, both in the bathroom and then again at the dining table! She stunned me today, and my respect for her just shot up a few notches after today! The last thing I was expecting was for her to be so forthcoming and teasing about their little encounter! I adored that little laugh of hers before she dashed out of the bathroom and the way she kept pointedly looking at Asad on the breakfast table and smirking was just the icing on the cake! For the first time we're seeing a girl who is totally cool, calm and collected while a guy is left completely out of his element! She has been pulling the rug from underneath Asad's feet from the first time he met her, and this is no different! Like she said before, she does have the ability to render people speechless and that quality of hers has started working on Asad.

When she started singing Jaane kyun log pyaar karte hain, I totally died laughing and Asad's reaction was pitch perfect! She wasn't pretending like the incident never happened like we would have expected but rater treating it as secret joke between the two that only she can poke fun at him about! Asad has never encountered someone so lively and yet brutally honest before, and I have a feeling that he won't be able to maintain this stiff behavior with her for much longer, so I am looking forward to them becoming friends and for her to start changing his 17th century outlook on life, the seeds of which were planted today!

And I have to say, I am beyond grateful that Asad is not portrayed as 4Lions typical aggressive, angry young man types! I am so done with those, and I like how Asad's characterization is different! He is mature and serious, but now the brutal, uncaring way and I think that has a lot to do with the fact that he loves his mother and never wants to let her down! And the best part is that this is not going to start off as the typical hate relationship that is a trademark of this PH. These two get on each others nerves but I don't see them hating each other! I think we're actually going to see their relationship bud into friendship and then something more as the story progresses!

As for the Asad-Zoya-Ayaan love triangle, I haven't seen any signs of it yet, so I can't really comment on it! I also haven't seen all of the promos so I was didn't know that Asad is supposed to get engaged to someone else either! Honestly though, they have laid quiet a foundation for Asad-Zoya and I do not know how the audience will take it when the story shifts a little to focus on the Ayaan-Zoya track. I personally am not able to see them together because Ayaan seems to be too young for her, and just imagine the immaturity level if these two get together 😆 At the end of the day, it's going to depend on the ratings because TRPs are coming back in a month and if the Ayaan-Zoya arc is not taken positively they will shift the relationship angle back to Asad-Zoya and I will totally be okay with that!

And on an aside, I really want them to focus on the Rashid-Dilshad story arc as well because I absolutely love those two!
