You know I actually like Shireen. I know alot of people have been complaining that the actress's voice is weird and OTT but besides the fact that she can't help her voice, I think her acting is fine for the role she's playing.
Shireen just strikes me as an innocent character. She trusts her husband fully - and I hope Rashid doesn't break this trust no matter how much I wish he didn't leave his first wife - and thats amazing to me.
In the first episode she was the one who called Rashid to tell him that his son from his first marriage was in the hospital - and she went along with him!
And I especially liked how she reasoned (at first) with Mumani about why she told Rashid to go, since Asad IS his son too.
I think her character has alot of positive potential instead of being stereotyped as the evil stepmother type. I just hope CVs dont ruin her character (into negative) nor does her sister in law brainwash her.
Btw - today when she was making halwa for her husband to take to his ex-wife's house so her stepson might feel better after eating it: I just thought that was so cute and innocent of her. She's really just naive, I think.
