Enjoyed today's episode...definitely better than yesterday's. The story about the rift between the 2 families is slowly but surely unfolding.
I just want to add my 2 cents about the performances we saw today...
I'm glad Anwar Jiju brought Zoya home, and I thought it was cute how hehid behind the newspaper as Zoya and Zeenat made peace. I was a bit taken aback that Zeenat had contacted the jilted groom's family and invited them back...Hello! Earth to Zeenat!
If Zoya had wanted to marry him she wouldn't have refused in the first place! And even if the nikkah was to take place...did she even consider the reprecussions Zoya would face in such a sasural, for walking out on them in the first place. I'm so glad Zoya held her stance rather than feel guilty and give in to her sister's whims.
Over at Rashid Khan's house another drama wastaking place. Seems to be a daily occurrence in that house...
Speaking ofRashid Khan...I don't get this guy. He abandoned his wife and children .. never looks back for 17 years...who knows what hardships they may have had to face...Forwhat?
His choice of new wife has neither beauty nor brains...so, I guess her bank balance must have been his motivation. Then again, As Mr. Bennet (Pride & Prejudice) would say...there aremany a men who'd prefer a stupid wife...
Anyways...what I don't understand is why has he suddenly developed a conscience? Why does it suddenly matter to him how Asad is? And how else did he expect Asad to react...with open arms? Please, spare me.
Shirin Khan was in full form today... very OTT, very filmy, and very foolish...The fact that Rashid Khan has to spend the rest of his life with her is punishment enough for his deeds. I almost feel sorry for him for this...then again NOT!
However, I must say Shirin surprised me today...in that she accepted the fact that she was the other woman. This coupled with the fact that she informed Rashid about Asad's injuries shows thatshe is not all bad..she does have a heart...but unfortunatelyshe is easily manipulated by the people around her.
They say the apple doesn't fall far from the tree...so it's not surprising thatAyaan is also OTT just like his mother... I don't know, for some reason...I'm not warming up to his character. His attachment to Asad, seems to be his only saving grace. But I can't for the life of me imagine Zoyaever consenting to marrying such a person...not unless she was drugged first..
What a contrast this family is to Dilshad and Asad.
I can't say enough good things about Dilshad. What a wonderfully calm and collected personality she has.Loved herconversation with Asad. Both mother and son carrying so much weight on their hearts. I loved this dialogue of hers: Even after 17 years...I still don't understand...what I did wrong.
But Asad's ownreflections were the clincher for me. Afraid to love or be loved...afraid of ever hurting someone the way his father hurt them...forever scarred by the sins of his father...just incredibly touching...
Take Care,
Fatima

I'm deeply touched Fatima with the fact you are beginning to look forward to my posts.
Thanks a lot for such a heart-warming encouragement.
Wow!! You have added on some really amazing points dear.
I loved your reviews sooo much.
I completely agree with each and every sentence of yours except for Ayaan.
I'm not impressed by his looks but slowly I've started liking him.I won't dent that he failed to completely impress me in the first episode though. But I grew fond from hims since the second episode. His bond with Asad is really adorable.
I hope your views about Ayaan may grow a bit positive with the coming episodes because of his unbound love for his bhaijaan.
And yes I also can't see him with Zoya at all.The imagination itself scares me.
🤣 Zoya seriously needs to be out of her mind for giving her consent for marriage.
Talking about Zoya I also find Anwar quite cute.Zeenat is a caring sister but at times she is kind of forcing Zoya.I'm glad that she has got an amazing husband who is able to make a balance between 2 crazy sisters.
What should I say about Shireen.Like mother like son. That's why I find Ayaan at times too funny just like his mom and you rightly pointed it out that she is just a OTT..
Regarding Rashid I fail to understand this man completely.I completely agree with whatvere you have said about him.I guess he was concerned about Asad because Ayaan was saved by Asad.I'm quite confused about him.But one thing is clear like Asad I'm not going to forgive him ever.
How could he abandon his first wife? It's against the culture and legal laws even.He is bound to take care of his children even after deserting them. This man really gives me creeps.
I think I'm going to take much time to understand him completely.
All in all Fatima like you have begun to look forward to my posts,I also eagerly wait for your reviews.
Thank you soo much for everything dear.
Whenever I make a thread you are the first person who comes to my mind as I really wait for your comments.
I would love to know you more.
