The problem is .. fairy tales don't come true . Its always the nightmare that becomes the reality.

I saw this scene again, has to be my favorite Rizwaan/Preet scene and my eyes got moist. They have been bestest of friends who where there for each other to wipe out the slightest bit of frown on the other's face.

Yehi meri jagah hai .. main hamesha yahin rahn ga ..

Rizwaan .. torr diya wada? You promised her to be by her side every single day, every single night .. you promised her that you WILL be there but now .. ap toh usey chor kar jaan deney ja rahe ho? .. we really dont care that u are dying because you want to remain loyal to her .. the reality is you ARE going to die .. you left her .. you made a fairy tale promise but broke it in a million pieces ..

Main tum pe bht bhoorsa karti hn .. khud se zyada..

Preet .. you trusted him right? why dont you go and question him once .. go confront him once for betraying you .. ask him the reason .. go talk to him please .. dont hand him over just like that .. that man deserves one chance to explain ..

This is my romantic heart, my fairy tale loving heart complaining to both of them for ruining the dream in this picture and the picture above.

Rizwaan has to die i know .. and Preet cannot give him a chance i know betrayal is too far gone a sin to be repented .. but still i wanted to complain today.

Its the ending week of PKHJD. We dont know what fate holds for Rizwaan and Preet. We dont know how, when and in what circumstances will they both meet their end.

Will Rizwaan ever come to know that he was manipulated all his life? Will he come to know that he has his own blood existing in Preet's womb?

Will Preet ever come to know of the excruciating pain Rizwaan went every single minute for 5 years while betraying her? Will Preet realize that the path Rizwaan chose was not his own choice?

Will they be able to look into each other's eyes and confess their love?

Will they? Will they die together? Alone? knowing the truth or completely unaware of it?

We dont know .. Apparently Preet is ready to hand him over to the authorities . with their ever lasting khamoshiyan between them.

I wrote this post to mourn. To mourn how two innocent souls fell at the hands of fate and lost their airy tale .. I wrote this post to mourn the beauty that Rizwaan and Preet could be.
I wrote this post to mourn how brutally thier lives ended up ..

I wrote this post to mourn the WHAT IF of Rizwaan and Preet ..

This picture.. this was there haven .. the picture perfect dream .. but reality came gate crashing to ruin it .. they will never be this close ever again. They will never fall asleep looking into each other's eyes .. They will never close their eyes again with the hope of seeing the other person tomorrow.

I wrote this post to mourn the Rizwaan and Preet's fairy tale gone wrong .. the fairytale where the demon maybe be defeated .. but it will take away the prince and the princess too ..

Kinza... What you have written is absolutely true.
I have been watching since epi 1, and later when they revealed the spy/terrorism angle, I continued watching because I strongly felt the ending will be happy, as the title "Pyar Ko Ho Jaane Do" seemed to indicate so. I thought Rizwan will change and eventually help India, and realize the importance of love (which he has).
But now everything is a big question mark😕 I haven't watched many Indian shows, and I started watching this show after a long gap, since it's a finite show and I like Mona Singh. The promos looked good too. I don't think I have speculated as much for any other show as I have for this one. Even on twitter I see so many anxious tweets/predictions/speculations. Many seem to want a happy end, but it looks doubtful😕

Regarding the questions you have posted above, I don't really know how much will be revealed to characters, and what will be their end, but I do think that Preet will find out about Rizwan's past and forgive and accept Rizwan's love. Although this is very difficult to do in real life, this will definitely be shown for the purpose of this story, because the whole point of the story is to show acceptance and fall in love regardless of cast/creed/culture/religion. Her dilemma was cut short - thanks to Sony😡 So I do believe that Rizwan and Preet will confess love to each other. So far they have shown Sana to be sympathetic towards Rizwan, and now she also knows his parents' death's truth. If this angle was going to make absolutely no difference to the end result of the main story and the main characters then why show it? Also, I really don't understand this pregnancy angle.

Should we assume Preet will be safe because the writers will not kill a pregnant woman? It will be too painful for me to see only one live. Also, killing the man while the wife is pregnant is quite cliched. If they had to show death, I would prefer Rizreet both to die. I don't know why this pregnancy was shown...

Anyways, the last episode is going to be heart wrenching for me. It will be hard to bid adieu to Ishaan/Rizwaan and Preet who tugged at my heart strings, so much so that I want them to live happily. But everything is big blur now😒

One thing I don't understand is Baba wanted Rizwan to do the blast so that he can destroy confidential papers of the Indian govt. So if the blast does happen then the papers will be destroyed? I mean the blast would mean an act against India right? So if the blast happens, it would mean Baba's win right? Even if Baba is caught later by Shergill, if Rizwan carries out the blast, the damage is done. I'll guess we'll have to wait and watch😕

You may be wondering why as I too am wondering why I am posting now so far into this wonderful story?
Is it because it relates so closely to what is happening in our current times?
Is it because all of the members of PKHJD posting their threads and posts on this story feel so strongly and feel so strongly more about what is right in the lives of these characters who can represent anyone nowadays in society and that almost all of our Earth's Higher Powers/Rulers have truly forgotten about the common man and their daily living's plight whether it is financial or social.
The first I see as the main cause/Inequality which will continue to be the cause of the second.
None or not many social outlet or programs for many of the baby-boomers, the X-generation or the now Generation-Y/Millennial Generation in any country or continent that causes us to be brainwashed into who best say they will be or provide for us and in doing so we get drawn into this permanent lifetime trap until we die somehow or the other.
I have truly enjoyed all the Threads and Posts to the core of my soul.
Thank you all for that and thanks to all the casts that portrayed the characters to the best of their individual abilities. Whatever the outcome is for this story although I wish with my every being that it is one of a positive outcome just to show all of humanity that life here on Earth can still have a happy ending for anyone and forgiveness regardless of how all of the bad things in life started because IMO regardless of good or bad genetics and what percentage each of us possess, there is still a little bit worth saving in all of us before we move onto another world if there is such a thing. Alex
P.S. This may be added to the farewell thread if deemed appropriate.

Dear, i guess you should stop predicting and assuming and let the story come to you as the writers want it. That is the beauty and pleasure of watching or reading a story .. dont assume, let it come to you as it is .. so you are able to feel, connect and express your feelings.

As for you questions in bold, the blast is happening bcz Baba wants to kill innocents. All these reasons are for rizwaan, and the reason is not that he wants to destroy papers, but the reason he gives to rizwaan is that blast wont kill anyone and will be a distraction from them to escape but his REAL motive is to kill innocents. So, please dont think that if the blast happens then Baba wins .. if rizwaan manages to save the hundreds of innocent lives, which he will( having faith in the astor and writer) then baba doesnt win, even if the blast happens in a secluded place taking rizwaan's life.

As for your wish of happy ending .. i would again think that you should let the story come to you as it is.

Thank you so much for a wonderful and opinionated reply. We would have enjoyed far more if you could have posted ealrier but never mind .. its a delight to read your thoughts even now. We as viewers have been too attached to this beautiful tale and now as its ending .. with so many questions out in the open .. i guess we should let the writer decide what fate she is about to give to these characters. We all have our own personal preferences for endings. I want a sad ending, some members want a happy ending .. thats personal choice .. but for now .. i guess the writers and the actors deserve our unbiased open hearted viewership of the end .. they have created a gem .. let them end it and lets have faith they will end it in a way that t was leave a mark on our hearts ...

Fairytale... Might as well be myth or a heartstealing romance.. What kind of fairytale is Preet Rizwaan story? Is their life story a heartstealing romance that eventually turned into a myth? There's was love between them... No doubt.. But can only being in love carry the burden of a relationship? There was something Preet asked Rizwaan...

"There has been Meghana in your life you love her, but what about me? I have not known any other love.. I have loved only you..where does that leave me?"

Rizwaan you love your mission more than Preet is it? Rizwaan always had two loves his mission and Preet, Meghna and Preet.. But you cannot both love a person and act against the principles they believe in... Hide the truth from them... Rizwaan's fairytale had two Princesses... His mission and his love.. And this turned the fairytale into a myth.. A lie...

Preet on the other hand had only one Prince.. But her love couldn't be completed because her Prince's love was divided... Even though the Prince loved her, he also loved his mission..

Preet had one love..
Rizwaan had two loves...

This story was about Pati Patni aur Woh.. sautan ex spoiled their life eventually...

Great write up Kinza... Rizwaan's is such a wasted life..one lie of Baba affecting so many lives eventually... Preet aur Rizwaan ke fairytale ko nazar lag gaye...

Kinza yaar.. Beautiful words.. So many times I have almost shed tears for these two fictional characters..but aaj toh yeh padhkar aansu nikal hi aaye..

All I can sum up for rizwaan and preet are these lines :
Kya jaane koi, kaisi hain yeh zindagaani,
Hamaari adhoori kahani..

Gear up for super emotional week yaara...

It's all about choices as they say.. Thus fairy tale would have stayed a fairy tale if Rizwan had known the right choice ...a choice he had made in time,,. A love he had found accidentally and had stuck to it.. Rizwan not only is lost travelled he is a weak child too.. So
Your words are so true kinza... It's a fairy tale gone wrong n we have been mourners because we can see but cannot bring the right change
