As the week ended on a high note and we all got so floored by yesterday's episode, it took me time to recollect my thoughts and make this weekly thread. I find this week as one of the most eventful in terms of story progression and a marvellous one in terms of performances, scenes weaved, dialoguesuttered to shape the story. It was one satisfying week for all Ishreet/Rizreet admirers though there were some major disappointments in the form of introduction of a not so likeable Naina , that too just after the disastrous Shabina apa entry. Poor us.😆Head banging time ahead with these two ladies. We also had another entry which actually added that much needed spice and edge in the show- THE AGENT Jay Shergll. He created havoc in Rizwan Ahmed Khan's life( as an agent as well as well as a husband). He lost his cool, went haywire to show how crazy he can be. We welcome Jay Shergill with lot of anticipation and thank him for evoking that much straightforward reactions from Rizwan who otherwise likes to be guarded with his emotions. 🤣🤣

Now coming to the scene of the week, its a tough call as it was a splendid display of emotions from two protagonists with their journey in love. I don't know if it will be inappropriate to say that this week belonged to the emotion of love and its different shades, not to the characters. We saw pure genuine feelings of affection, sense of raging insecurity, moments of intimacy, dignified silentacknowledgment of uncomfortable truths existing in the relationship, honest efforts in making new memoriesand a sheer desire to be loved- beautifully amalgamated in the scenes which tell us a story- A story of companionship, a story of togetherness of two distant people despite being very close to each other. ❤️❤️❤️

As I can't choose a single scene, I am going to list my favourites of the week. No apologies this time as its pointless. 😆

<div>

The most discussed scene of the week. Lot has been said about this scene and I guess we would all agree that this scene would be regarded as one of the best enacted ones in the whole series as yet. It was sheer brilliance onscreen. Take a bow actors. 👏⭐️Thanks for bringing it so naturallyanddepicting LOVE hurts badly and it takes strength to love and admit that its a natural need of a human being to feel loved. Preet Ishan Hoodaexpressed that unapologetically and for that she wins brownie points.

~Scene 2~ (Pic Credit- Twitter, GIF- creations gallery, Original Uploader)

khamoshiyaan moments which I absolutely loved. The wife asking so desperately for the reassurance to ease her fear of loss and the husand in return only gave her silence as a reply. Her world was getting eclipsed by the past about which she is still very unaware. It made her jittery and restless. All these caused much discomfort and pain for Rizwan. He cared yet he hesitated. He wanted to calm her down by putting a fullstop to all those raising doubts she had, but failed miserably thanks to his helpless situation. He is yet to find answers for himself, it will be a long wait for Preet before this wall of silence is broken by her beloved. The song and those candles getting blown off by Preet and Rizwan staring at her silently made that scene - painful, heart wrenching but alluring. All their hopes and desire to be together and start afresh were dashed and the darkness persisted- In their room, in their troubled souls.

Khamoshiyan ek raaz hai
Seene mein dafan hai kahin
Khamoshiyan jo paas hain
Main tumse kahunga kabhi
Baant lunga main, saath mein tere
Milne to aao zara

Silence is as much as an answer like spoken words. Hope one day he can weave words in his silence and express to the love of his life. Kaassh... Beautifully poignant. 😳

The most poignant, significant scene for me. Every word spoken pulled the heart strings and made me teary eyes. When no answers came from inner voice, the helpless surrender to the Almighty to seek guidance was brilliantly portrayed. The dialogues were brilliant to say the least and it will remain my favourite for a long time just for that writing. Thank you writers. We all go through crisis& dilemma in our life and end up asking the Divine- What is it in our destiny and where HE is taking us?The protagonist was no different and thus it came across as a very realistic one.The painfully beautiful line which stole my heart- Kyun mujhe mohabbat ke raastepe le jaa raha hai aur kahan hai woh mohabbat ka raasta.A man who yearned for love life long, is not allowed to love yet searching for that with all his heart . Heart breaking, Ironic, Poetic. Loved each and every frame of this scene. ⭐️

Lastly, the most important point to be mentioned , these scenes would not have been possible without the actors who breathe life in these two characters and made us all go AWWW to OHHH to UFFF. So big round of applause for both the leads who showed their excellence onscreen yet again throughout the week and thus it will not be wrong to say that PERFORMER(s) OF THE WEEK GOES TO --------- Iqbal khan and Mona Singh. Thanks for being firecracker performers. 👏

Now its your turn folks to share your favourite scene of the week. Its a real tough one this time. Toh der kis baat ki, dil ki baat bata bhi deejiye. 😳😳😳

P.s Sorry for putting this thread up so late. Hope every one contributes actively and pour their heart out. 😛😃

Payal lovely post AS ALWAYS! 😳

So we had a fabulous week! With a variety of emotions especially regarding Rizwaan and Preet. It was from heart to heart talk, to romance to ultimate showdowns to utter silence. What a beautiful Rizwaan - Preet week we had! There were so many beautiful scenes and it was SO SO hard to decide MY favorite scene, and after a lot of pondering, KHAMOSHIYAN wins it. Dammit it was PAINFULLY BEAUTIFUL.

It was poignant, it was natural, it was dead deep silence, it was beauty.

The silence that took over that room could almost reach our hearts. We could feel the udaasi that took over that room in a matter of seconds when the past came knocking on their door. The lyrics in the background.

Kya us gali main kabhi tera jaana hua? Jahan se zammane ko guzre zamana hua?

Mera samye tu kahin aur tehra hua .. bataon tumhain merey sath kya kya hua ..

How perfectly it sits on them. and then the heart stealer line ..

Khamoshiyan .. jo raaz hain .. main tum se kahon ga kabhi ..

How desperately he wanted to talk, to tell her there isnt been any woman except her. Hw desperately he wanted to ease her fear but all that he could do was wait and pray for a day when MAYBE he will be able to tell her the truth .. this line just sealed it for me.

Preet had lit her room with candles of hope, and at the end of the day, she went on blowing her own hope out, and Rizwaan, who came in to strengthen her hope in the end became the reason of breaking it. The room slowly drowned into darkness, and so did their hopes.

Technically, the lighting, the camera work, the flawless editing was the cherry on the cake, and then our powerhouse performers. The way Mona stands up and controls her tears, her frustrated yet subtle blows on candles, and Iqbal's silent following of her through his eyes. It all was done so wonderfully and flawlessly that this scene is going to be my all time favorite. Something I am gonna watch again 10 years from now. Sigh ..

Payal and kinza: You guys are just👏
How well written is this post. And all of the scenes that you two mentioned have been my favourite too. Let me start chronologically:

A) The showdown scene:

Undoubtedly one of the best scenes that we have seen on this show in terms of the portrayal. For the first time Rizwan makes us see through his heart which is full of jealousy at the mention of his wife's ex- fianc. He went ballistic. The fact he saw her shed a tear made him feel that she was reminiscent of all those memories that she had with Vikrant. But little did he know that Preet values him more to shed her tears for him and not any other man. That entire scene between RizReet gave us an insight to the inner turmoil that these two go on a daily basis, the turmoil of not being loved as much by their partners as much they themselves do. Rizwan is living in denial. He knows Preet has become the reason for his existence but his mission does not 'allow' him to fall in love. And that's what is making him remain in delusion. He is feeding on self pity, since he feels he cannot be loved as he was always deprived of this emotion ever since childhood. That lines when he says 'sharmindgi toh hogi Hi kyunki tumhari shaadi mujhse hui hai' and 'Kya kahogi tum? Ki Vikrant kitna achha hai aut main kitna bura?' Clearly depict that state of his mind and heart. He knows that he is breaking the trust of the Hooda's every single day and that taking advantage of so many people who love him is certainly not a sign of a 'good' man and he knows that subconsciously. Hence he knows he isn't worthy of being loved cause that fear of how would people react once they come to know of his real identity is something that bothers him both in his conscious and subconscious states of mind. He fears falling in Preet's eyes (which however is inevitable) and considering how much Preet hates 'padosi mulk' , his insecurities just augmented there. The scene was an amalgamation of his jealousy for he loves Preet from the core of his heart and his insecurity for he knows he isn't the one who deserves to be loved cause:
I) he is from the padosi mulk carrying out just his mission with no agenda of love
2) he is not Ishaan Hooda whom Preet claims to love and whether Preet would ever remain in love after knowing he is Rizwaaan n not Ishaan.

B) The Khamoshiyaa scene:

Beautiful. 😳
The burning candles added a kind of aura to the entire setting.
The most remarkable part of the scene is when a wife asks for reassurance from her husband whether he really IS HIS or still happens to be his ex-wife's! The pain in her eyes was so heart wrenching. It was like her world was empty inspite of everything that was showered upon her. Only Ishaan/Rizwaaan can complete her and she waited for that assurance to be given to her. Alas! Her question was defied an answer. She realized that it was time for that hope which she had rekindled in the form of those candles to die out and hence she blew off the candles. I loved the pain stricken expressions on her face. They were so real, so natural. And whether or not, the man sitting on the other side of the bed was equally pained if not more. I felt for Rizwan's pain more in this scene. At least Preet can let her heart out but this man jut can't. Preet is the only girl he has ever loved in his life, yet he is forced to keep her in delusion, making her think that he is still not over his ex, for he just can't afford to make her his. This man loves this woman in a way that he keeps going on loving her inspite of knowing he can't attain her. The pain he inflicts on her is doubled or tripled when the same pain of having to lie to her strikes him. Yet this man kept his composure in the scene. Fabulous writing out there CVs. 👏
And, the BG just enhances the intensity of those raw emotions in that scene. Fan freaking amazing! 😳

C) The Namaaz scene:

Firstly, I love Namaaz scenes. I think they have something inexplicably mesmerising about them and Iqbal just nailed it. His turmoil, his crisis, his guilt was everywhere in the scene. Turmoil cause he is not what he is thought to be, crisis cause he indeed is on an identity crisis-- he does not know how to draw that line between Ishaan n Rizwaaan since his heart is getting the better of him and lastly his major guilt of betraying those people who are the only ones who ever loved him. The myriad of emotions that needed to get depicted via the scenes were spot on and Iqbal Khan just slayed! Period!

" Jo teri kismat mein hai woh do paharo ke beech se bhi tujhe mil jayega, aur jo teri kismat mein nahi hai woh tere haathon ke beech se aake bhi nikal jayega "
This was like answer he was searching for. If Preet is meant to be his, he will be hers after fighting all odds, and if she isn't meant to be Rizwan's then even the Almighty can't get him his beloved. Truth of existence 😊

For me these three scenes were the major highlights of the week. There were several other heart wrenching scenes but these three stood out for me. 😳
Okay,this comment got too long.😆

P.S: one thing just struck me. That scene where Rizwaan and Jay were shaking hands, Preet comes and breaks that moment and separates them. Is it like an indication? Any foreshadowing that Preet would defend him inspite of her hatred for the padosi mulk? What do you guys feel?😳

Awesome post
U described each scene very well
Their are many scenes of the week and I would indicate the rizwaan kiss imagination.
He finds Preet as his part but the word Ishaan makes him g o far.
He himself wants Preet to be his and he imagining kissing preet was the best. The remainder that started on his brain was amazing that Preet 's concern is for Ishaan Hood a not him.
He wants Preet to love Rizwaan not Ishaan

@Sohu, whats your name dear? Hope you dont mind asking me that.

Yes I do think few scenes between Preet, Jay and Rizwan was symbolic for future post the revelation.

Of course I won't. Sohini here.😳
The scenes definitely foreshadow something. I strongly feel that way.
