Yeah it was kinda cheesy and OTT at times, but its the first episode. I wouldn't criticize every detail and just watch it to enjoy it, and if you can't enjoy it, don't watch it.
At the end of the day Indian serials should be the one thing in life you watch to de-stress and not take seriously if their causing you to be more anxious than bringing you pleasure, something is wrong 😆
Thank you for giving out ur opinion which is very much appreciated, but then i too was just voicing out my opinion. I don't enjoy to give out criticism u knw...but where i see faults i will voice them out. U might not find anything wrong with the epi, but for someone like me who is working to get into this industry of editing and directing in television especially, i felt this was a very poor episode in many different aspects.
I know ekta gives serials which nearly always have high TRP and that is why i am this disappointed because even for the introductory episodes she has in the past done so much better! And no i am not going to stop watching this show because as u said it was only the first epi and i personally love their chemistry. And i did say that towards the end the editing got better which i hope keeps getting better because i actually do want this show to succeed, but because of me kinda liking this show because of IshReet i am not going to claim that this was an amazing episode.
And believe me i did not criticise them on every little detail...i only mentioned the main ones, because if u want me t go into detail then it would just be long and just kinda boring..
