The leap has infused the story with some new perspective. It has cut out some of the fat and is concentrating on the characters they already have!! After all, how everyone at DM became how they are now is a story in itself!

Rubel has just internalised his pain. He not only lost Pankuri, but Adi as well. He relied on them both so much at one point. Then in one swoop it was all gone. He must have been in shock. Payal has instead of supporting Rubel, found refuge in her society set! She can start her own show now, "The real housewives of Mumbai"!! But jokes aside, that love story needs to come back inline too. I hope cv's give them a good story. Payal needs to learn to value Rubel and her relationship with him again!! She also resents the fact that Rubel is very busy because Adi no longer comes to work! So somewhere she blames Adi and Pankuri for the state of her marriage. But as Aneesha said... What can anyone do about circumstances? It is not anyone's fault.

Avantika is now falling back on faith. She can't accept that Pankuri is gone. She supports Adi's belief that she is alive! I think Adi is stuck. He can't come out of his grief or function normally. It is a real pity. He has become a Majnu Deewana type. Which he never was before!! Poor Adi!

Sheila...she is trying to laugh. I love her new look. Anju is trying to keep it together. So is Harish. They are both trying to accept reality. Anisha Nani and Shanky are trying their best to keep the family going just like Nanu and Shanky used to. Preeti and Kaira have left the country.

In all, it is a promising start to a new story. I don't even know what to think if Ayesha yet. Who is she really? Not sure. But she is cute. Can't wait to see Adi. But in all this I have to mention, I really miss PAYA! But the show is a bit like what it was when it first started. Full of potential and possibility!

Hmm...u r right..but I did like Ayeshas entry and hoping she is Pankhuri...I am liking Dishas new avatar..

but miss the old show a lot..all the family moments...miss them...hopefully we'll get them back though...lets keep watching

BUT then again, guess what? Ayesha's new family is a middle class family. AND they have two daughters. Ring any bells? If in the future it is revealed that Ayesha is indeed Pankhuri, and the family found her dying somewhere after which they adopted her, then the entire family will become a responsibility for Pankhuri. She will bring them to Diwan Mansion, and then they will slowly start eyeing all the property that the Diwans have. They might start eyeing Adi and/or Rubel too.

I'm probably looking too far ahead, but that's about it!

Although so far Ayeshas family seemed quite decent, except for maybe one of her sisters...

uff this sounds horrible..knowing the CVs they can easily have this track...
