Dear friends and honourable Admins, pardon me for my title, but I can't hide my frustration any more. This is my last post and it's going to lengthy, please bear with me. I used to die for this show and I had may fights with my wife and parents for being glued to the TV set when PKDH was telecasted.

Now it's official that PKDH is going to die a premature death, and I think only the CVs are to be blamed for that. Take a moment to look back at the entire journey of PKDH. After the fabulous start it had, it has always been a story of unnecessary and un-useful tracks. First there was the Shivam track which was completely unnecessary, if you remember Adi was never even jealous of him. A better way of developing the ADI-Pankhuri love story could have been Adi trying to find out the mystery woman due to whom is parents were separated and Pankhuri being his driving power. When the Adi-Latika marriage broke up the opportunity presented itself, but the CVs never grabbed it. The Naani death track was a complete bluff. Then there was the Manan track which did not took the story forward. Kaira always liked Pankhuri. Then there was the Padma Mami track, which also had very little to contribute to the story and finally the Vikram track which lead to the untimely demise of the story and now to make things worse they are going to kill Pankhuri and re-introduce Disha as a Muslim girl. At some point in the story she has to meet Adi and the Diwan family and both she and Adi will fall in love to each other and once more she has to win the heart of the entire family, which means it is back to square one again or are the promoting communal harmony and secularism during this election season. I'm sorry for my lack of vocabulary, but the only polite words I can remember is ridiculous and nonsense.

Many of us suggested so many wonderful tracks like making Paya parents and taking the story to the next generation. Preeti-Samer track could be another one. Nowadays medical science has made so much progress that ladies like Preeti can easily become mothers. Look at all other SP shows, they rotate around the lead characters and their families. They have been running for years. They do not introduce too many new characters and people who love those shows have never left. On the contrary PKDH had lost many of their fans and we have lost lots of our friends in this forum. The CVs got an wakeup call when Manasi Ma'am (Avantika) decided to quit, but they never learnt their lesson. Ever since she accepted Pankuri wholeheartedly, there was nothing left in her character.

This show got me back to the habit of watching and following a TV serial after almost 20 years and I don't know when again I'll get another show like PKDH. Never the less thanks to the entire team for entertaining us for almost 3 years and all the very best for each one of them, specially to our very own Paya. Disha will always be our sweet Panku with her the girl next door look and Nakul has portrayed the character of Adi in such a way that he reminded me of my 20s. A special vote of thanks to those two.

I'll remember all those friends whom I met in this form only and wish them all the best.

Thanks for reading.

Even I am sad at the way this story has progressed with meaningless track after meaningless track. Mostly introducing negative characters every 3 months to the show and letting THEM be the driving force of the story. Adi getting accused of drugs and fake notes, and now this time of sexual harassment. The trials of Adi and his family are endless.

No wonder Nirmala Deshpande said that rich people have no end of problems! She is right. But out of most of the tracks, the Nani track was the worst, in which supposedly Adi killed Nani by disconnecting her oxygen by mistake. She was supposed to have been dead 20 years before and suddenly she was brought back to life and said to have been in a coma for years!! Then of course lets not go into the Chacha/ Chachi track and the Mama/ Mami track! Most of it was utter nonsense.

Now comes the mother of all insanity. Killing Pankuri. How did this show start? It started as an exploration of how people from two different backgrounds find happiness together. How they effect each other's point of view of life. Pankuri from a stable and united family and Aditya from a broken and un-united family. They each came from "calm" and "chaos" respectively. The story was about how these two become one, and how through Pankuri and her values the Deewan's become united as well.

Initially things were going well and it was on point. But then the story started to deviate to a detective agency type plot where Pankudi and Aditya spend all their time solving mysteries. The whole story started to fall apart at the seams since the death of Nanaji. It was going downhill before that too.

I will watch the show to see exactly what they are trying to do. But I have to say even I am highly disappointed with the turn of events and how this show went from a great one to a run of the mill show. The acting is still VERY good and that is what keeps me hooked. I love Nakul and Disha and also Mansi and Kushwant. So I enjoy watching them.

Let's see what the future brings but I am NOT holding my breath!!

I understand your frustration and I too believe there was no need to kill her off but they could have given Disha something better with keeping Pankhuri alive but as a fan I still have the patience to see where the CV's take this new twist and turn. However, I am not forcing my views on anyone and you are always welcome here to express your views on the show!

I can totally understand your frustration.

I've been through the same situation a few months ago. When they first introduced Manek Diwan, who came and began fighting for property - I gave up on PKDH. They stretched that track for too long. Then they brought in Aneesha Waterson, and this just put me off.

I am only still watching PKDH because of Mansi Salvi and Disha Parmar - both these ladies always stand up to the expectations of their audience.

Although it seems like impossible, I am hoping and praying that the new change can lift up the show.

One thing which again I dislike about the leap - NEW characters. Aren't the Creatives tired of employing new people every month? They should use the same old characters, in a more efficient way! HMPH.

I agree with what you said! I used to love this show but as soon as they introduced the Vikram story I stopped watching all together, I'll only see the eps now and again because mum and dad still watch it. They lost the spark they used to have, there's no romantic stuff because there too busy sorting everyone else problems out! I don't know how they'll save the show once Panku dies. One will have to wait and watch I suppose

Lets think positive...as per sources, the new track will have lots to offer and atleast...it WON"T be "Property Grabbing" track.🤢...AND it will revolve around the main leads...👍🏼.THAT"S what gives me a BIT of relief...🥱
