OS- "Barsaat"
She was looking beautiful...rain drops coming down softly on her, clinging to her skin, beautifying it even more! Adi stood silently as he watched his love dancing in the rain...the red sari clung onto her curvy figure...making her look very very sexy! "Adi!!! What are you doing there? Come here! This rain is so beautiful!" Adi simply stared at her. "Adi! Are you listening?" No...Adi was not...he was mesmerised by Pankhuri's beauty..he could see nothing other than Pankhu's smiling, gorgeous face! He could hear nothing but her sweet voice singing the song-"Barso re megha megha.."..."ADI!!!!" It was only when Pankhu shook him violently that he realised where he was and what he was doing.."Adi main kabse apko bula rahi hoon par apka dhyan hi nahi hain! Kya soch rahe the aap?" But Adi was still gazing at her..as if hypnotised by her beauty! But Pankhu was determined to make Adi dance in the rain with her! She ran towards him and pulled him outside the shade under which he was standing. Adi, suddenly realising that he was getting wet in the rain, shouted- "Arre yeh kya kar rahi hai tu? Mujhe bheegna achha nahi lagta.." "Woh toh mujhe pata hai...par ab yeh sab nahi chalega...aap mere pati hai...apko mere saath dance karna hi parega! " The childish smile on her face again sent Adi to his dreamland...the land that was only theirs...Pankhuri and Aditya land...PaYa land! Adi had never liked rain since his childhood...rain reminded him of those bitter days of his childhood...the day when his Mom left his Dad's house with him...was also a rainy day! His mom hated rain..and so did he! But then came an angel into his life...Pankhuri! The beautiful angel who brought back happiness to his and his parents' life, reunited their family, and even agreed to divorce him just for the sake of his family! The poor girl has had to shed so many of those precious tears from her beautiful eyes...just for the sake of his family! Not a single day has she spent without serving his family...not a single day has he been able to give her happiness since their marriage! And she has accepted it all...without a complain! No...enough of it ...now it was his turn to give her the happiness that she deserves. Yes...she deserves every bit of happiness...and it was his...Adi's duty to give her peace of mind and soul and fill her life with love! "Adi...COME!" Pankhuri pulled him towards her to make him dance. Adi didn't refuse. He held her hand and danced with her. The more they danced the more difficult it became for Adi to resist! Pankhu was still dancing...laughing, and jumping like a child! After a long time has this girl found happiness, Adi thought. Kaira was happily married, Vikram Dhanrajgir was in jail, Aneesha nani was back in their family...their family was united! That's why Pankhu had decided to celebrate their victory by going for a small trip to Goa...but the car's engine failed when they were almost halfway. Bad luck! Adi was frustrated..why does this always happen with them? The moment they find a bit of happiness, ill-fate comes to them! Will he never be able to give Pankhu happiness? But suddenly it started raining and they had to rush into a shade nearby...in the middle of a desolated road! But where was Pankhuri? Oh...there she was...dancing in the rain! Gosh! What material is this girl made up of? That she finds happiness in EVERY small thing in life? Adi stood in the shade mesmerised...
"Oh ADI! This rain is sooo beautiful! It's been ages since I danced this madly in the rain! Oh Adi! Do say you are enjoying it!" Adi twisted her around so that he was facing her back...and pulled her by the waist. He put his mouth near her ear and said-"Yes dear...I am enjoying this rain as much as you are! This rain is beautiful...but there is something more beautiful than this rain...you!" Pankhuri blushed. "You know Pankhu...I have never been so happy ever in my life...it's you who has brought me happiness, who has taught me to laugh...and now it's my turn to serve you!" He knelt down and recited this poem-
I promise
That I shall always be with you..
Be it sunshine, be it rain...
Be it drought, be it flood,
In happiness, and in pain.
I promise, I shall never leave your hand
Till my last breath,
Together we shall live, and together shall we die
You as my wife, and me as your husband,
I promise.
Adi looked up at Pankhu and said, smiling-"Well that was a pretty bad poem...but I hope I have been able to make the meaning clear..haven't I?" He searched Pankhu's eyes for an answer.."Is it that bad? Well then let me change it...errm...I promise, I..."
"Stand up.." Pankhu said. Adi looked up at her only to find tears in her eyes.."Pankhu..!" Adi stood up... "why are you crying?" Pankhuri said "Oh Adi! You don't need to recite poems to me to show that you love me! I know you do...and I also know you love me more than probably anyone else in this world! I don't need poems...I just need your love!"..And Pankhuri hugged Adi tightly. "I love you!"-They both said together. Their hearts filled with content...Adi suddenly started feeling that there is nothing more beautiful than rain!
After some time Adi broke the hug saying-"Hoa! Let's not get wet anymore, or we shall catch cold! Let's go inside that cottage..." He said, pointing at a cottage beside the road. Then Adi stood staring at the cottage for a while and a faint memory of his childhood came into his mind...it was the cottage that his Dad had bought for his Mom...as his Mom loved the place. He was very small then...probably 4-5 years old...but he still remembered how happy his Mom was when his Dad first brought them there...the day was also a rainy day...
"Adi kya huya aapko?" Pankhu asked. "Kuch nahi...let's go inside" Adi somehow controlled his tears. They rushed inside the empty cottage. "Hmm...well I guess we'll have to spend the night here itself as we won't get a mechanic till morning..." "Koi baat nahi...mujhe nahi lagta yahan koi rehta hai...ya koi aayega.." Pankhu smiled as she looked about. She got herself a towel and started drying her wet hair. Adi looked about and remembered those days of his childhood and tears filled his eyes. Then, he suddenly noticed Pankhuri. How happy this girl looked! "No...I shouldn't spoil the time thinking about those days." He thought...after all, everything was fine now, and the key to his happiness was right in front of him! He decided to make the night special for Pankhuri. Slowly, he came up to her and held her from behind..."Adi! Kya kar..." "Shhh!!!" Adi put a finger onto her lips and looked at her. Pankhuri was lost in his eyes...he looked so handsome!... Adi brushed her hair to the side and and planted kisses on her neck, shoulders, arms! Pankhuri was overcome by a new sensation...!.Adi then came up to her lips..."Adi..."Pankhuri tried to protest...But Adi was finding every passing moment impossible to wait. Just when Pankhuri opened her mouth to protest, Adi slammed down his lips on hers...Pankhuri was shocked to receive this kiss that she hadn't expected. Adi came down for another kiss and this time she responded. She followed his every move and slowly brushed her arms up and down his bare neck...They shared a long kiss. Adi then picked up Pankhu in his strong arms and lay her on a cot ...He slowly opened his wet shirt. Pankhu stared at him...Never before had she seen Adi topless and she had to admit that he had a nice body...She blushed. Adi lay on top of her and kissed her again. Ever so slowly he opened her blouse...Pankhu closed her eyes as Adi made love to her...
The night ended beautifully for the young couple as rain poured heavily outside...The sound of the rain was music to their ears, balm to their pained souls and relief to their bodies...Pankhuri and Aditya finally found happiness through rain, Barsaat.
