As per SBS high points, it is revealed that Avantika will slap Adi and make Rubel the new MD of Diwan Group

In behind the scenes, Adi's expressions and dialogues looked like he purposely didn't attend a meeting and therefore a huge deal got cancelled. After knowing this, Avantika gets angry. shouts at adi for being careless and then slaps him and replaces him as the MD.

So I think this is all Adi's plan to make Rubel as MD so that sheela mami can be happy.
