Chapter 40 -

Adi goes to open the door and is greeted by Alex.

Alex: Sorry to disturb you Sir. The hotel will provide you a complimentary dinner for tonight. Is the international cuisine okay for the both of you or do you want anything else?

Adi turns to Pankhu who signs that she is okay with it.

Adi: We're okay with it Alex.

Alex: Sir, then please allow me to serve the both of you dinner.

Adi moves outside and in a short while comes in with the dinner trolley.

Pankhu: Adi?

Adi: Good Evening Madam! Can I set up dinner for you?

Pankhu starts laughing and the two of them settle down and have dinner. After dinner, they continue planning and decide to freshen up. Just then,

Pankhu: OMG Adi!

Adi goes closer to her and looks at the luggage bag that Pankhu was looking into.

Adi: This is just Fabulous!

In the luggage, winter clothings were packed for the two of them.

Pankhu: Mom must have had planned this surprise for a long time. Everything is just perfect.

Adi: I think so too!

Pankhu snuggles close to Adi.

Pankhu: From childhood friends to soul mates, everything about us seems magical.

Adi: Perhaps it was fated to be this way all along.

The next morning,

Pankhu: Adi, wake up! Quick!

Adi: Pankhu, are you crazy? It's so dark here.

Pankhu: Adi come on!

Pankhu drags Adi out of the bed and gets him to freshen up. She then brings him to the balcony.

Adi: OH MY GOD!

Majority of London was coated in a white blanket. It was snowing. Little had Adi or Pankhu expected that they would be experiencing snow.

Adi: Let's head inside. I'm freezing now.

Pankhu: Me too!

The two of them head back into their suite and Adi double checks to ensure that the balcony door was shut properly. They then head to the fire place and sit down.

Adi: And there goes our plan of sightseeing!

Pankhu: Adi, we can still spend time together here!

Adi: Here?

Pankhu: Yes! Here!

Pankhu walks towards her luggage and starts taking everything out and laying it on the bed. Adi follows her and sits down on the bed.

i know it hw heavenly it feels wen early morning u get to see a sight wer u feel as if u r above d world wen snow falls & snow collects below on ground & u above that... i hv witnessed this sight.. thnk u so much jezmine for reminding me my wonderful memory...i could imagine my that day & its pleasure once again...😃😃
