'IPKKND Season 2' opens up well on Star Plus UK

The second season of Iss Pyar Ko Kya Naam Doon on Star Plus has made a decent start in the UK, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsia.

The show, which returned with new actors, pulled in a respectable 108,500 viewers at 18:00 " peaking at 123,400 viewers. It beat old shows like Saathiya (70,700), Meri Bhabhi (88,200), Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai (60,400) and Ek Ghar Banaunga (52,300).

Pyar Ka Dard Hai was on top of the UK Asian TV ratings with 210,700 viewers, followed by Veera with 180,500 viewers and SaraswatiChandra with 143,300 viewers. Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai was in fourth with 142,800 viewers and Diya Aur Baati Hum in fifth with 112,700 viewers.

On Rishtey, Bhagyavidhata at 18:00 pulled in 66,800 viewers, followed by Bani " Ishq Da Kalma with 50,400 viewers and Jeevan Saathi in third with 36,300 viewers. Laagi Tujhse Lagan first episode at 20:30 got 7,300 viewers.
