well initially v were shown that avantu is very very different from the other mils of
indian tv. she was suave, stylish, wearing trendy sarees, & gorgles. she even goes for
jogging which is unheard of with mils. and and she doesnt do pooja she doesnt
talk about 'bahu nashte mein kya hain dopehar ka khana kya banaaye, raat k paratha
parose... blah blah blah' in fact forget cooking she doesnt even enter the kitchen & she is a businesswoman. ghor kaliyug. on top of all this she believes that everyone in the house
can have their own life. nobody needs to take permission from anyone to do anything
including the bahu. in fact one should not interfere in anothers life. even now she is
like this. but but like a typical saas she is ever blaming the bahu for everything under the sun
which is so unlike her. in this respect she is just like any other saas on indian tv screen.
