The story of PKDH has been unpredictable apparently, actually there have been no unpredictability at all. Months ago our friend here has predicted it was Preety who has undergone the abortion, my friends in another forum predicted it when Adi-Latika marriage was broken and we were right. The first time when Chandigarh issue was raised Sabina predicted it will be another son of Dadaji and he had an affair with Preety and she was spot on. Even the 9 year old baby of Sab predicted that Preety can't die now and she is also spot on. We all have been predicting a PAYA separation for quite some time now and we are spot on. So where is the unpredictability?. The CV are not realizing that they have been not only fooling the audience but also fooling themselves. They have introduced some unnecessary twist in the story sometimes. Can anyone justify the necessity or rationality of the entire Shivam episode?. If Harish finally had to speak out to Adi and the Kailash episode had to happen, when why didn't he spoke out that time. Adi and Pankhuri were the best friends that time, they could have done exactly what they did to find out Kailsh and reunite Avanish. In the whole process Adi could have easily fallen in love with Pankhuri and got married to her.
The biggest irritation of the story has been Sheela. She seems to be either 10th or 12th standard pass, but she is portrayed like wiser than Sir Newton. Sometimes she becomes antaryami, and figures out what others are up to. The way she figured out where PAYA were going and why only God can do that. Whenever she gets caught, she gets away with her crocodile tears and people again start to believe her. Isn't it ridiculous. She is such a fool that she doesn't even realize if Pursottam dies without signing his will Avantika, Anuj and Preety will have equal share of the property, at least the laws in India say so and she can never compel nor convince Avantika or Preety to gift their shares to Anuj. If Pursottam is alive he will never hand over all the property to anybody. Still she keeps spoiling the environment.
I understand without these the story will finish in 6 months, but believe me people will love that and remember it for a long long time. I don't know how many of you have seen the serial "Buniyad". It was a similar story emphasizing the values of family, cultures and relationships. It used to air twice a week in Durdarshan, when I was a kid, may be 20 or 25 years ago. It was on air for 7 years, in today's environment it would have finished in 1.5 years(5 or 6 days a week) and believe me friends you can verify with your parents or even grandparents that we still remember that story.
We all have problems in our lives. Television is one media where we try to escape from reality for a while. When PHDH started I felt well here is a sweet love story and people will love it. All it is giving now is severe headache and irritation. I still can't leave this show because of the two lead couples, PAYA and Avanish. There have been talks about the director being changed, if it's true the new director is killing the show. PKDH can do wonders if Sheela is given less screen space than the lead characters. For now it's the old wine in a new bottle.
