PKDH...My parents roped me into watching this serial...said the story is same as Shesherkobita by Tgore. An Oxford educated "modern" boy meets a "Sanskari" hill station girl...they are soul-mates ..But they do not marry one another...I should've known a daily soap cannot be that deep...they fooled me...😡

As Anu mentioned these drama brings high TRP...these are coined as family drama...they ensure longevity of a show... They ( Rajsree) might've also freaked out by the premature demise of IPK( which ended at the top of its reign)... and decided to stick to the tried and tested family drama formula ...if that is the case then it is sad...Rajsree were NOT bold enough to think outside the box...they chose Mediocracy over striving for the best...

One short lived drama with amazing story (which Rajsree are capable of) would've been much more palatable (atleast to me) than the subpar story we are watching now... And if they think they can overlook the PYAR aspect of the story they are grossly mistaken...it's the PYAR part that acts as glue to the family drama...anyway at this rate PKDH will never be a Memorable drama...it will be a mediocre drama done with a little bit better gloss because Rajsree are good at that... It will never be a Tiramisu ...it will be a pound cake...( still feeling shanky's Dard...so many people , only one person running around doing all the work...pound cake is all he can manage as Tiramisu takes love, care and attention to details)😉
