We know that for Aditya & Pankhuri after each Meetha Pyar phase there has to be a Dard wala Pyar phase...We've seen the Dard phases after the Tilak MU ; when both were trying to marry other people (Latika & Shivam) and failed gloriously 😃... and the latest one during 15 day separation when Adi gave Pankhuri the ultimatum to leave with him or never see him again😲 (this had so much potential but fizzled out prematurely).

These Dard phases bring out a passion in a love story that nothing else can. All these drama (Geeta Preity Avanish Rubel Sheela) are all mere scaffolding for the next separation... atleast that's what I have been expecting. I don't watch PKDH for the kitchen politics of headless villains or fake MU of other couples (all though Avantu Harish dard has been my guilty pleasure😳)... hopefully after some well deserved PaYa moments we will see a Dard phase sometime in future...

I have been asking for a Kullu phase for awhile now... especially a Abhiman type of Dard phase. Nakuul Mehta is so brilliant in emotional scenes and Disha can pull off a silent depression stage quite well too. Can you imagine how Meetha the make-up would be after the Abhiman phase

If Pankhuri is banished to Kullu after some misundrstanding between Guptas & Dewans ...with Adi showing his impulsive self again...my wish for a scene like the one below can come true😊

My other option is to watch Axis of Evil (Sheela Rubel Latika) run the show and the moralistic hogs (Adi Pankhuri) try to defuse them constantly🤢... I am not ready to accept this yet... So help me fantasize some passion- wala-Abhiman-style-Pyar please ... even if they do not come true!

Nice analysis.

In ABHIMAAN - the catalyst was male ego. Till now nothing like that lies in between Adi and Pk. they are suffering without being the cause of it. May be at a later stage a separation like that will add special flavour to their love story. Here the side stories some times getting more importance than the central love story.

You'r right AK...

Adi doesn't have that toxic male ego problem... that's what makes his character so good...

there has to be another way to get them separated which evokes Abhiman (not the movie; the emotion)... that would be great story telling on CVs part (and if anyone can do it; it will be the Rajsrees)... at this moment we are getting run of the mill Good guy vs Bad guy stories...

Why don't you tickle your brain and come up with a plot ... and help pass this dull weekend...😆

Let us look at this way. All except Adi are blaming Kulu people for such incident. The Kulu team leaves Mumbai, PK with them being disgusted. She expected Adi to tell that whoever is responsible, it is not PK. In Kulu, PK thinks that she should not be a burden to the family and takes a job as architect in Mumbai. She does not want to be in touch with Adi but as a sincere traditional bahu, regularly says hallo to Nanaji, Preeti, Harish, Dadi and even Avantika. Adi by heart wants to patch up with PK but can't find a way. He waits outside PK's office in the evening but PK in front of him takes auto. Adi takes tips from Nanaji, preeti Harish for how to patch up but in the process does many funny things without success. Lastly, Dadi suggests not to make things complicated by wasting time. Go straight to PK's hostel, tell her - no more argument- you are my wife, you will live whereever I live. Adi goes to her Hostel, tells her that, packs her belongings and leave the hostel. PK without saying anything follows him realising that now Adi has understood and realised the value, meaning and strength of marital relation.

I have no idea what you're talking about with the "abhiman" type passion, but it would definitely be nice to see some Kullu scenes that you've been longing for. If there is dard, which will surely happen, as it's a serial, we'll definitely see impulsive Adi trying to woo back his wife! That would be a treat surely.

Abhiman is something like Husnd-wife Gussa / narazgi which normally spices up family life and makes it colorful out of monotonous shades..

@ red... I can see Nakuul Mehta doing justice to those scenes... he is a great actor.

Hopefully PK will be showing some attitude while she stays at the hostel and fights Adi's efforts to take her back...

Sharna...Abhiman is what AK (Sayan 18) explained... s/he did a better job than I ever could...

There also was a 1973 movie (I added the YT link in the original post)... where the heroine is so hurt by some actions of the hero that she goes into a spiral of depression. Imagine after all the things Pankhuri has done for Aditya & his family... only because she loves that man; (she cloaks her "love" by calling it "duty"... we all know that...😆 )... how hurt would she be if Adi was the one being unreasonable and asked her to leave... of course they would make up after awhile... so not to worry... Thank you for replying in this comatose forum...🥱
