TOI: Prateek to enter

Rajshri Production's cute and innocent love story Pyaar Ka Dard Meetha Meetha Pyaara Pyaara on Star Plus is slowly and steadily making its way in to the viewer's hearts.

Now, to add more masala to the on-going drama a new character will be introduced on the show. Prateek Shukla, who was last seen in'Hamari Saas Leela' will enter the show as a parallel lead.
Viewers have already witnessed sparks flying between the two leads Aditya ( Nakuul Mehta) and Pakhuri on the show. Aditya has started feeling insecure about Pakhuri and with Prateek's entry their relationship will go through some tense moments.
Prateek has been roped into play the role of Shivam who will be the new guy in Pakhuri's life. Shivam will be related to one of the in-laws of Pakhuri's sister Neha and the Gupta family (Pakhuri's family) will soon receive a marriage proposal from Shivam's parents.
When contacted, Prateek confirmed the news and said, "Yes, I am very happy to be working with Rajshri Production's. They are such lovely and warm people to work with. It's a very interesting role and I am really looking forward to the show.
