Payal 2 is Adi's cousin aka Harish's niece.

Both Payals came to attend Aditya and Pankhuri's wedding, and are looking for their own grooms as well.

However, there's a twist in turn, because Payal 1 is apparently in a love affair with some other guy from Kullu, and Rubel, has fallen in love with her already.

Payal 2 on the other hand is falling for Rubel.

The position with the families is that, Avantika, Harish, Aditya and Sheila are looking into getting Rubel married to Payal 2.

Govardhan Mama and Pankhuri are looking at Payal 1 for Rubel. Pankhuri KNOWS that Rubel loves Payal 1, because she saw him hiding her photographs, and he also indirectly admitted it to Pankhuri about his crush on Payal 1.

Therefore, both Adi and Pankhuri think they are talking about the same Payal, but actually they aren't. Adi is talking about Payal 2, and Pankhuri about Payal 1. This is where the confusion stands.

As of now the there is lots of confusion happening in the show coz Pankhu knows Rubel loves Payal1 and Adi thinks Rubel Loves Payal2...
