In Pkyek with some loopholes storyline was good so I overall liked almost all tracks..

But yes there are few which I hated..

Change in Panchhi character.. she was such a responsible big sister but turned into totally different..

After leap Piya and Jeh love track ( I think makers tried to copy Edward-bella-jacob)

Death OF T .. she was bratty but I liked her in the show..

Abhay as human was okish at end but Jeh should be killed by him ...

One thing I want to mention ... I like how they use *FORGET ME NOT* Flower clue..

Looks like the writers saw TVD last minute and decided to go the Katherine Pierce way 🤣

T was a queen man, I was damn disappointed when she died.

The makers were highly inspired from TVD and Twilight...pre leap it was Pia-Abhay-Maithili-Sid (aka Elena-Stefan-Katherine-Damon)...difference was Abhay wasn't as simple as Stefan and had elements of Damon while Sid didn't love Pia.

The second half like u said, Edward-Bella-Jacob.

I didn't mind Abhay human, but they should've kept it a temporary track and turned him back into a vampire. I had always hoped the show would end on a cliffhanger and Ekta would bring it on Hotstar 😭

Panchi probably had the worst arc...we had enough problems with Lady VD off screen but on screen bhi we had issues 😆

Sid should've become a permanent character, redeemed himself like Damon Salvatore and teams up with Abhay.

The werewolf casting was a miss. Dipanita was really caricaturish, Jeh was gud as a regular dude but as a werewolf was lacking, Neel was the most irritating one and we didn't get enough Elina to get connected with her. She would've made a great add on to the team and fit very well in their dynamic.

What I loved the most about Shaurya's track was they did not make fun of the fact he was gay. They did do those dreamy sequences where he imagines a life with Shankar (bg mein I am in love is playing) just like a girl would've had. It was the first time when a homosexual character was treated as a normal person. IT did change a lot of people's perspective in real life...that homosexuals are just like all of us, their preference their personal choice.

Yes.. they didn't make it silly or made fun of it... It was normal.. Pkyek was ahead of its time . Gay or homosexuality is still used as comedy only on ITV.

I thought may be Abhay still possess some supernatural quality but naah he was too normal.. I was hoping he would used his supernatural intelligence.. and will free Pia from Jeh... Since he knew about werewolf so, he will make plan to kill Jeh smartly but everything in vain !!

So initially if you'd seen PKYEK publicity and then SBS/SBB interviews, Vivian and Sukirti used be everywhere together. They were like really good friends and shared awesome camaraderie. Even the Halloween party of Star One, they were pictured together. Not saying they were lovers (Suku was dating Rishabh Jain at that time) but they shared a cute platonic relationship. Vivian was also very close to all his other co-stars at the time. They had even gone for a T20 match or something: India vs Netherlands.

Cut to few months later when Vivian and Vahbiz went public. Ofc there was a lot of backlash, fans couldn't believe it. But Vivian was very respectful of his girl and expected the same from all the fans. Of course everyone began to ship them.

But simultaneously, Vivian and Suku became distant. Their scenes reduced on screen. They did not give interviews anywhere together. Lady VD was everywhere. Even any segments for SBB/SBS, Vahbiz would be there with ViSu. We had got one segment without Vahbiz, just of our AbhIya and I remember the way this forum had blasted!!

Suku was still close to everyone, but Vivian restricted himself to Siddhant, Kishwer, Suyash. There were hardly any photos of him and Suku off screen. So what fans ended up noticing is after Vahbiz became Vivian's girlfriend, it compromised the show's quality. And it affect ViSu too.

Now Vivian and Vahbiz got married in 2013 and ViSu moved on with their individual lives...but we never even got a picture of the two together, even when they were at the same event.

And then the last time we saw Vivian having camaraderie with any of his co star was Rubina...this was around the time he was separating from Vahbiz and we all know Rubina and Abhinav had been together for years before marrying. Even Vivian and Drashti reunited at RubiNav's wedding.

So everyone felt that Vahbiz had something to do with it...because post their separation, Vivian was like a different person on Shakti.

I noticed the differences too during Shakti, from the interviews I watched. And from what I could gather, VD and Rubina got along pretty well

Sad to see this happen to ViSu, and I feel to some extent Vishti was also affected by the same thing?

I could be completely wrong here, but the difference is staggering 😕

No ur right. It was there during VIvishti too...just not so prevalent coz Drashti was very serious with Neeraj since like forever so it wasn't so impactful...wonder what was the problem with Suku?

Drashti also comes across to be a very nice girl...all her friends also, even Sanaya, Mohit etc...very cheery happy go lucky, let bygones be bygones type...so no wonder she and Viv patched up later.

Suku and Viv were both present at Kishwer's wedding but no pics together.

I have always hoped they do patch up. They remind me of Emma Watson and Tom Felton, without the romance angle...Tom's gf had caused the two to drift apart, but after they broke up Tom and Emma are back to being friends.

I think Lady VD was very insecure...and she might've mistaken the chemistry between Suku and Viv as real life...and also Viv was all about Vahbiz, he was madly in love and wore his heart on his sleeve...so I doubt he understood what people could see...it happens when you are young and in love...coz I am sure Viv couldn't understand that Vahbiz was wrong and his fans were young so would be very vocal with their annoyance...had he understood what us kids were trying to say maybe this wouldn't have happened.

And thats why there was a major difference during Shakti; because they were splitting up.

And I've never really seen such a thing in the TV world. For example: Barun-Sanaya are great friends and married to different people, Arjun Bijlani is also married but shared great bonds with his costars, Drashti was committed to Neeraj since forever but she shared an awesome bond with Gurmeet/Abhinav, Gurmeet's had fab chemistry with all his costars and did some pretty bold scenes in films but he and Debina are still strong.

My heart still wishes that ViSu should patch up and do at least an interview together.

I should add here that I don't like gossip, but when its plain in front of your eyes you can't help but discuss it. I had nothing against Vahbiz, but due to her insecurities PKYEK's story and AbhIya was compromised. I know they were all young back then and must've moved on now...but it did affect our show big time.
