You are welcome but you are in for a bad news. First movie based on first book of VA series came in 2014 but it didnt do good business so production house decided to quit the project.

If I am not wrong you are talking about the scene when Rose and Dimitri were in a car to find Lissa (Rose's friend who had been kidnapped). Later scene reveals that when Dimitri goes inside he cautions Rose to sit inside the car while he goes inside the building where Lissa had been kept by her kidnapper (her own greedy uncle). He reminds her of the time when he brought her back from human world and right near the gates of school they had to face the Strigois (bad vampires) but Rose froze as she was untrained and had never faced them before. While Dimitri goes inside, Christian Ozera emerges from his hiding spot and he knows that Rose is not the kind of the girl that loves to sit behind and do nothing. He questions her whether she is going to do as told by Dimitri or not and what was Dimitri talking about. To this Rose replies about her 15 YO untrained self or novice that she is not that girl anymore. She is experienced and trained (by a God, Dimitri was reffered as such) now and she wont be afraid or wont freeze during a fight and will face everything that comes to her when she goes to Lissa's rescue inside. And no there is no doppleganger angle in VA.
