Necklines
Rising Hemlines means when your
skirts get shorter and shorter . Here,
they stand for high points of the show.
Plunging Necklines means when
necklines of your clothes go lower and
lower. Here, they stand for low points
of the show.
RISING HEMLINES :
1. Abhay-Haseena
Blood runs thicker than water.
Siddharth , after a hiatus of years has
caused not only a storm in Abhay's life
but his heart as well. He maybe going
mad trying to protect Piya from Sid but
yes, his heart aches at the thought that
Sid hates him so much. Having sent
Piya running and crying to her hostel,
and Sid frustrating the hell out of him,
it is a touchy sight to see Abhay come
running back home and hunt through
his wardrobe for what I was expecting
to be Metz' pic. But what Abhay is
desperately hunting for is a beautiful
memory just like Maithli. A picture of
Abhay and Siddharth ( errrm'..did
Abhay turn a painting into a
photograph using Photoshop.
Progressive , I must say. Otherwise it's
a technology blooper. Oucch. Mean
Pocu )'..yeah , a stark reminder of the
famous Stefan-Damon photograph that
fandom keeps chipkaaoing in every
Stamon VM. The brothers were close '
they loved each-other as the picture
shows , as Abhay's angst shows , as a
softened Haseena shows. Abhay appears
broken momentarily at the thought and
realization that Siddharth has forgotten
the brotherhood and what they were
once. The hurt clearly showed on
Abhay's face. No matter what has
passed between them, it hurts Abhay
somewhere inside that Sid has gone so
far from him. Haseena , the oft
emotionless vixen , defends Sid for a
change to try and make Abhay feel
better. She tries to calm him down by
saying that its not true. Sid has always
loved Abhay. But like a hurt tortured
and non-believer soul that Abhay is , he
refuses to believe it. He just tells her
that if at all Sid has cared for anyone ,
its been Haseena. The foster vampire
mother. It is the best scene of today's
episode as we see Abhay's emotions ,
angst and a multitude of feelings for Sid
come out like a gushing waterfall. And
for once, Haseena's feelings for both
the brothers are for real. Yes, Abhay is
ready to fight Sid for Piya but the little
brother inside him breaks into pieces.
2. Siddharth's monologue in his office.
In direct contrast to a dukhi-aatma and
tortured pariah Abhay is the
SEEMINGLY happy-go-lucky Sid who ,
his entire agenda springing from Abhay
and 'how-to-make-him-miserable' , is
planning to serenade , seduce and
abuse Piya . Why? Hello! Its gonna
make his little baby brother go red-
green-yellow and it will break his heart
as Piya will apparently go flying into
Sid's arms. It is fun to see Sid keep
talking to Abhay even though Abhay is
not around. You can't tell Sid's feelings
for Abhay but his expressions have
often betrayed him in that one episode.
And you can only hate someone with
such emotional anger if you've loved
them once with the same passion.
Whatever Sid feels for Abhay is intense
, deep and yeah, forever. Piya is Sid's
priority and prey because she is
Abhay's life. Everything starts from
Abhay for Sid. Sid just wants to spoil,
play, rip and ravage her. He is sure that
she will jump into his arms as soon as
she sees him. But , here, Sid is
contradicting himself. When he himself
knows that his brother can only fall in
love if the woman is 'SOMETHING',
then, how can he just underestimate
and judge the power of her feelings? He
really thinks that Piya can be so
shallow? I hope his brain comes back to
Mother Earth the moment he sees Piya-
a splitting image of Maithli. It will be
an ouch situation for him though. The
same face choosing Abhay AGAIN.
3. Sid ' T- Pancchi.
T is gonna be Sid's toy for a while , it
seems. She is literally throwing herself
at him and he , being the charming
womanizer that he is , is having a ball.
Sid might just play with her or kill her
or even turn her. Depends. But yeah,
that jalo-bhuno look on Pancchi's face
was a delight.
4. Abhay's angst over Sid.
In the last scene , Abhay's frustrated
breakdown in the woods was again an
insight to how much Sid can hurt him.
More than cribbing about Piya-Ko-Sid-
Se-Bachaao mission , he felt devastated
that Sid can go to these limits. When he
screams " Why are you doing this to
me, Sid?", you know that if at all there
is anyone after Maithli and Piya who
moves Abhay, its his estranged elder
brother , Siddharth. I wish Siddharth
was there to see the Abhay-Haseena
conversation or was there in the woods
to see Abhay go berserk. Sid would have
known the answer to the question that
he asked Abhay in the last episode '
WHERE IS THE LOVE?
PLUNGING NECKLINES.
1. Piya Ke RONE-DHONE Ki Kahaani
WOMAN! Have you, like, got salt water
running in your body? Ronaa, ronaa,
ronaa' kitnaa rona? No wonder her
crying and sobbing sometimes irritates
the hell out of Abhay , even. Lol. She
ran away from the locker room crying
and was still crying in the hostel. Misha
is scolding her for not appearing for the
interview and she is still crying? Then,
she has to answer questions about her
relationship with Abhay and she is still
crying! KOI MUJHE PIYA KE
AANSOOYON SE BACHAAO!
2. The YAWN interview chewing gum.
Frankly, speaking , if I am called for
such 24 hour extended interviews that
can happen even in the middle of the
night , I will reassign myself to the
employment exchange. Too stretched as
if it was the most coveted job at
Infosys! Gaah!
3. Misha-Shaurya.
Get. Done. With. It. Creatives. In case ,
you haven't noticed your audience
would rather watch the Poo-Poo dance
of Dalmatians than get sore eyes on this
wannabe gay track. Get it?
4. . Abhay knocking off Piya
Dimaag kharaab ho gaya hai Abhay? Is
that how you are going to protect your
jaan-e-bahaar from Sid? Couldn't you
find a better way of restraining her?
What explanations are you going to give
Arnab or Piya? Just tell Piya the truth
about your brother. And stop giving us
heart attacks. Paagal ladka! On top of
that you leave her there on the road?
Wait , were you seeing in the rear view
mirror if she is conscious or not? Uff!
You deserve the jhaad you are gonna
get from Arnab tomorrow. Sid ne sacch
mein tumhaare dimaag ka fuse udaa
diya hai.
