I was sitting in my room when my eyes fell on the calendar. Two months have passed away from the date we came to Dehradun. This means now only 10 months are left & after 10 months everything will come to an end. I wont be able to see Pia again. Dad says Vampires dont have feelings then how come I feel a pain in my heart whenever I thought of my separation with Pia. Within these two months she have became soo much important for me, it feels as if my existence is not possible without her. Am I in love with her? My dead heart is not supposed to feel any kind emotions but I can feel emotions when it comes to Pia. Her smile makes me happy & her sadness makes me sad. My heart is somehow not prepare to leave her after 10 months, I want to be with her for eternity. But for her I have to leave her. She is still living, I cant make her suffer for my selfishness. I was thinking about all these when Pia called me. "Where are you Abhay? You forgot our class is going on an educational tour today? Yesterday also I told you thousand times about this. Come fast, everyone has arrived. The bus is ready to leave, you know very well I wont go without you so come fast", she said. "I am coming within a minute", I replied.
Everyone was very excited for the tour especially Pia. Our bus left for its destination soon after I arrived. "Finally Abhay came, you are soo late Abhay,"said Kabir. "Dose anyone know where we all are going "? I asked. "No dear, Miss Dasgupta said its a surprise", answered Misha. I sat beside Pia & we started listening to music using the same headphone. "I love this song", said Pia. "Me too" , I replied. After sometime she fell asleep on my shoulder. The whole time I looked at her innocent face. At the evening the bus stopped beside a river . "Is this our surprise"? Kabir asked mockingly. "No, we are going to halt over here till morning," said Miss Dasgupta. I softly tried to wake up Pia from her sleep. But she was deeply asleep. Then Misha came and started shaking Pia to wake her up, "Get up you sleeping beauty", said Misha. Finally she wakes up & said, " Sorry guys, actually I haven't gone on a long journey for a long time therefore I became tired fast and fall asleep". "Its Ok, now come we have to get down from this bus as we are halting over here tonight", I said. As soon as I get down from I bus I knew
its the territory of the wolves & they wont be happy at all to recieve me over here. Tents were made, all the tents were similar looking. Me and Kabir shared one tent & Misha & Pia was sharing one. I put off the lights of my tent as I prefer to be in darkess, Kabir was outside so I was alone in the tent. Suddenly Pia entered my tent & said ,"Misha, I have to tell you something,". I understood Pia have come in the wrong tent & in the darkness she had mistaken me as Misha but before I could say something she continued," Its about Abhay, I think I am in love with him". Her confession had left me speechless. "I never felt anything like this before. All the time I think about him only . My feelings for him is very deep, it felt as if I know him for ages, like he is a part of me. But I am afraid to tell him all these, I dont know about his feelings for me. I dont want to loose him. I am afraid if he broke our friendship after he comes to know about my feelings for him. He means a lot to me, " she said."Misha why are you not saying anything ", asked Pia, putting the lights on . Now in the light we both can see each other clearly, Pia was shocked to see me . She put her eyes down & looked embarassed. I went to her , took a deep breath & said," Pia, I respect your feelings for me but I am sorry as it cant be anything more than friendship. I will always be with you but as a friend." She did not say a word , tears started to flow out of her eyes, after a moment she ran out of my tent. I feel down on the ground, I couldn't take the fact that she cried because of me. I never wanted to hurt her but no option was left for me. I couldn't tell her how much I want her, how much I care for her, how much I love her. Yes, I love her but still we couldn't be together as destiny have created us different. Blood started coming out of my eyes as whenever a Vampire cry blood comes from the eyes instead of tears. Kabir entered the tent and I quickly wiped the blood from my eyes. After a moment Misha also entered the tent & said,"I couldn't find Pia anywhere, have you guys seen her"? "She is not with you"? I asked her . "No, I havent seen her", she replied. I started to panic. Without wasting anymore time I went out of the tent & took a deep breath to trace Pia by her smell. I ran in my highest speed as soon as I traced her.
She was crying, sitting on a rock in the middle of the jungle. I went near her, as soon as she saw me she hid her face in her hands. I put my hand on her head caressing her hair & said,
" Please dont do this with me, I cant see you like this. I never wanted to hurt you Pia. I am sorry , believe me whatever decision I have taken ,i have taken it for your benefit. " She looked up towards me, her eyes were red & full of tears, I couldn't bear to see her like that & I hugged her to console her. We both holded each other tighly for a long time. It felt as if all the differences between us have vanished. But then I heard the howling of the wolves, I turned back & saw we both were surrounded by wolves. "What we gonna do now, how we will get out of here Abhay," asked Pia. I knew to drive the wolves I have to take my Vampire avtar in front of Pia. "Do you trust me Pia",I asked. "Offcourse I trust you, you know that very well", she answered. "Then just dont ask any question & close your eyes. I promise we will get out of here safely. Dont open your eyes until I say ," I said . "Ok ", she replied closing her eyes. I then took my real avtar to scare the wolves & within a minute the wolves went away. "Now you can open your eyes" , I said. After opening her eyes she looked around to see the wolves but not a single wolf was there. "How did you do this"? she asked. "You promised me that you wont ask any question, " I said. "Fine, I wont ask", she replied. But all the time she kept thinking how I managed to drove away the wolves.
When we went back , Kabir & Misha was already looking for us. "Where were you? We couldn't find you & we got soo worried . Abhay also left without telling anything", said Misha hugging Pia. "Sorry, I should not have left like this", replied Pia. "We are glad that you both are back safely, you know we heard howling of the wolves, therefore we got soo worried for you guys", said Kabir. Pia dose not said anything about the wolves incident to them. "Misha is having food poisoning so we both have to leave now, we couldn't make further journey. We asked Miss Dasgupta for the permission to leave and she gave us the permission. My car will come to recieve us," said Kabir.
"Misha how all these happened? Plz tell me what I can do for you", said Pia. "You dont need to worry Pia. I will be fine soon. Please dont spoil your fun for me. Enjoy a lot with Abhay", replied Misha. After sometime Kabir's car came & Kabir-Misha left. Pia said me,"Good Night" & went inside her tent. The whole night I kept thinking about Pia & her love confession.
